I found out the funeral is on Thursday. It seemed to soon for me to travel so I figured I'd skip it but my mom called me crying today about her not being involved in the funeral planning.

So, I just dropped $430 on a roundtrip ticket leaving tomorrow. I was there only three weeks ago. I figured I'd regret it if I didn't go.

That open casket is gonna be something else I tell ya.

All I really care about is being there for my mom and sister. My. mom said not to fly in for a funeral but idk. I'm not much for that kind of thing but I do believe in the symbolism and finality of this journey we went on together. we being my mom, my sister, and me.

She was 103 years old.

I lived with her through my adolescence. That was really difficult because she had dementia. My mom was sad that she couldn't say goodbye but I'm not sure it would have been good to do that. My sister is gonna be really sad.

She lived during two pandemics and was the hardiest old woman I've ever known. She would go outside and just dig shit up well into her late nineties.

It depends on what kind of jobs you are looking for and are qualified to do. I've gotten my highest paying jobs on LinkedIn. For lower paying jobs before I had experience, I got some on Indeed and Craigslist. You won't see a lot of retail or security guard jobs on LinkedIn. You will on Indeed.

I misunderstood and thought that you had interviewed for two different positions with the company and received the email twice. It sounds like they may be reviewung whether you will get an offer or interview again.

That's just the standard template that company uses when they've screened you and want to set you up with a hiring manager.

"My Lunch" but "My Screw Up" is a close second. I know they're both sad episodes but they never got too heavy and the dark moments were more poignant than truly bleak. They also come out of nowhere for a show focused mostly on humor.

What I fucking hate is that every time I wanna talk about investments everyone always tells me to invest real estate and rent out the properties like it's the easiest shit in the world. I am not a handyman, I hate fixing and repairing shit around the house, I hate taking care of the lawn so why would I buy properties and rent it out and still have to maintain it myself?
