Im guessing it was a call to tell you you didnt get it. A lot of people actually get upset at email rejections that far into things, so most recruiters are required to call everyone who made it to final rounds. Google is notorious for never providing any feedback either.

Im sorry it didnt work out. But keep your chin up. Most people dont ever make it that far. They are one of the most selective companies in the world. And its worth trying again in 1-2 years.

That happened to me with Amazon. Six hours of interviews plus prep shot down in a 30 second phone call with no feedback.

I think one of the biggest issues though is that we can't even find issues to come together on. How is it that we seem to disagree on everything? I would love to see votes that don't fall along party lines. How is it that all 50 republicans agree with each other on every single issue and all 50 democrats the same besides one? I know that's not exactly true but it often feels like that.

these days the party line mostly determines which companies are paying the politicians millions of dollars to vote a certain way. they're beholden to their true masters. Manchin happens to have interests in an industry which is different from most other democrat politicians.

Chicago deep dish is a tourist meme. If you want a genuine Chicago-style pizza, look for tavern-style pizza as that is what native Chicagoans prefer by far.
