Japan is a great place to visit, though. If you're into the culture you could definitely work your way in long-term. there are plenty of people who have worked there for a few years and come back.

Anyone here trade exclusively TQQQ/SQQQ or similar inverse ETFs daily?

I held TQQQ, DPST, and LABU for 16 months and overall made a decent chunk. The LABU actually fell below my buy price after tripling a few months in. It turns out NAIL and SOXL would have been much better plays. Oh well.

Also, it was very stressful holding those for that long.

Not really fair since Tyson was a heavyweight. But Tyson was faster than any person that size should've been. And he's always talked up as being very offensive, but Tyson actually was a defensive/counter boxer, but had more strength than someone like Mayweather. It wouldn't be a fair fight for Mayweather because of the weight differential, though.

Tyson's boxing style was actually very old school / orthodox but with an unusual combination of speed and strength.

I wouldn't call peek-a-boo style orthodox. Tyson was taught to box ambidextrous with both hands up and both feet squared to the opponent with lots of lateral torso movement. It was good for Tyson because it fit his relatively short, powerful stature with its focus on closing in on taller opponents, quick combos and lunging hooks. When he ditched Kevin Rooney his fundamentals slipped and he lost to Buster Douglas.

it's cyclical but this is a pretty significant lull. it happens every 15-20 years and a lot of shit has come to a head including the pandemic. I reckon this will be a bad one before a resurgence near the end of the decade.

apparently he walked up to a lady as she was walking out of the restroom and tried pushing her in while trying to hit on her. she left and told the show host (there was a show at the bar) and I guess the club manager was gonna come down to fire the guy.

sometime between that happening and me finding out about it, I got a drink from the bar.

I was at an open mic. the guy and I had been at the same two mics tonight and were talking to each other periodically. I was hanging out with another crowd after getting to the second one but he bought me a sandwich afterward with another guy who had driven me to the second place. he offered the ride because he lived closer than the other guy to me.

no, I had no idea he was drunk. I had seen him drinking a beer but thought nothing of it. he said "oh, I had another shot I wasn't planning on having" before we left. mostly he was talking about his family so maybe I assumed he wasn't drunk but he said he's been driving drunk since the 90s after all those stunts went down.

I don't know if it was more him being a thrill seeker and trying to impress me (he mentioned this) or the alcohol but I was scared a couple of times. there was a similar time once before about 10 years ago where a guy was scaring me like that but it was different

that was fucked up. he went wrong way on a one way street, blew four reds in a row on purpose including getting on to the highway, and in general was being a dick and speeding up in short areas. I kept telling him this wasn't impressing me but in retrospect I should have just told him to let me out and get an Uber.
