Then he mostly just refuses to say anything negative about China, a country filled with social justice issues, due to their governments extreme stances against any sort of free speech and Lebron's desire to continue making money off of that country.

So that is the real sense in which it matters. Lebron cares about social justice issues in terms of how it effects him.

The fact that you're conflating millionaires and billionaires when the topic title is about billionaires says a lot. Billionaires are not just frugal people who saved and scrimped and they do in fact have monopoly money.

Worse than that, they have monopoly man influence over entire industries, countries, and policy given them by their accumulation of economic power. Single individuals have more control over what happens than the collective will of millions, tens of millions, or even hundreds of millions of people.

It's not better for anyone for any individual to keep that power.

It was likely not just a bad decision, it'll have catastrophic effects on the party and for the country. As the former VP, she'll probably be annointed during the next Presidential primary despite being highly unpopular. Other, potentially better candidates will be scared to run against her.

The only ones who will run will be crackpots with ambission trying to attack from the right or Squad adjacent people who will gain just enough support to divide the party and be caricatured by opponents.

I'm pretty sure basically any Republican could beat Harris because she has no natural constituency beyond Democratic Party staffers.

There's a lot of money and influence to be had in convincing people who don't know a goddamn thing but really want to be special and claim secret knowledge that the sheeple don't have. These people don't want to actually work to gain expertise and contribute to human knowledge, they just want something different than what other people are getting or what they're told to do.

Those people suck, but the people who deliberately take advantage of that flaw in our brains/culture should be thrown into the sun. But instead we have entire news networks, political parties, and media empires dedicated to it.

This guy and the FLCCC should have examples made out of them so people think twice about whether grifting a life or death issue is worth it or not.

This happens for two main reasons. 1) The Democrats aren't just a big tent party, they're almost an open parking lot party. Lots of people in the party aren't even liberals, they're conservatives, just not as conservative as Republicans.

2) Liberalism, at least in an American context is more about opportunity to achieve equality rather than redistributing resources to actively achieve it. So even liberalism isn't enough, you need at least social democracy, if not socialism and further left ideologies to get there.

I actually liked it and I was very concerned based on the reviews because the complaints were the exact type of thing I usually don't like. But I liked the conflict, I liked the characters that actually had personality traits, I liked the scale, I liked the presentation.
