Actually, you know what, ey TC @pionear -- when you say heart attack, are you thinking of an actual heart attack only, or a heart attack followed by cardiac arrest, where you immediately lose consciousness and function, which is what will actually kill you quickly, and what people confuse heart attack with.

Gettin the bottom of this...
Because if what you actually meant was cardiac arrest then fuck I'm with that option all the way. Happens fast. Otherwise I'm opting for stroke.

Heart attack seems the better option.
Nothing like acute chest pain before heart failure slowly sets in and eventually meeting an inevitable demise after months of having fluid drained from your lungs and body because of how slow it takes a heart attack to kill you in the absence of cardiac arrest.

You guys are making terrible decisions.

Heart attacks can last a lot longer than people realize. They also don't actually always hurt, Hell you can have one without even knowing, but those ones very rarely kill. Tons of people actually confuse a heart attack with cardiac arrest but they're different. Although a heart attack can lead to cardiac arrest, this mostly does not happen. Dying form a heart attack alone can take 4 months of organ failure to kill you, sometimes a year.

A ruptured brain aneurysm is accompanied by the most agonizing acute migraine one can imagine. It is by no means a quick loss of consciousness and death unless the aneurysm is significantly large, in which case, it will most likely cause pain and distressing symptoms well before it ruptures. It can take 24 hours followed by vasospasm to kill you, but in other cases can take up to half a year for the complications to finally take your life.

Meanwhile, strokes happen suddenly but have a couple symptoms to go with them -- the one most commonly known is weakness on one side of the body, but aside from that, it does not actually really hurt. After the first minute of a stroke tens of thousands of braincells can die. It is capable of killing you swiftly without medical intervention, and even then a good number of people die within a month. It can take a year, but 1 in 8 are dead within 30 days.

To me, the choice seems obvious. Having a stroke is the least painful and it has the highest deaths in a year count (in the US). Ruptured aneurysms kill nearly 500,000 people a year, heart attacks 659,000 -- and strokes a whopping 140,000 people a year.
Dying is rarely quick and painless, but out of these options, I'd say the aneurysm is the most painful immediately, the heart attack causes the most prolonged suffering, and the stroke, while by no means pleasant, is far from being as agonizing as these other options.

To be honest, if I had to hypothetically choose between knowing that there's a Heaven and it's what we think it is or that there's a Hell and it's what we think it is, I'd choose knowing about Hell.

That way I know the worst people are down there getting what they deserve and that alone brings me peace.

I think if I knew that absolute happiness awaited me when I died then I'd try less hard at life. Just let me have my fantasies while I'm alive...

I don't know where to start.

-- Whenever I make shortbread cookies, I have to plan in advance and order black raspberry jelly from somewhere so I have the only kind I like to put inside those cookies. The amount by which I am a stickler on this is a bit insane, I will admit.

Fair enough.

-- Whenever I reach the end piece of bread, I spread peanut butter on it and sprinkle a little garlic powder on top. Of course I'll each my sandwich first before that slice, or else the garlic powder will mess with the pallet.

Dude that flavor combination is horrendous.

-- There've been times where I'd make cookies just to nom on the uncooked, remaining dough, after I've put a batch in the oven. Then I just give the baked goods to someone else, such as friends or co-workers.

Who doesn't do that?

-- On a less weird note, but still something I wish to point out: I've been eyeing the sourdough soup bowls at work and thinking of picking a couple up with some tomato soup, cheese, mushrooms, and either spinach or basil. I'm not sure yet what my main source of protein will be for such a meal, but I'm thinking edamame on the side since I do not eat pork (so no pepperoni).

Reminds me of how for Christmas each year my family takes one of those giant sourdough loafs, cut off the top and pick out the insides to make a bread-bowl, then stick a whole ass wheel of brie in there and put the entire thing in the oven. It's heavenly.

I think ketchup has a different taste when it's baked, like, on top of the meatloaf for example. I don't mind it, personally.

You know, as a kid I used to really enjoy something I called "ketchup sandwiches", which was just a bunch of ketchup in between the layers of a hotdog bun (and it had to be that or a hamburger bun because of the taste of the bread).
I stopped eating it for years but recently I tried it again just for shits and giggles and damn it was good. Guess I just really like ketchup.

As for me, I have a serious love of parmesan cheese. Like to the point where I will just sit down and bite it straight off the block.

This year I brought a whole ass wedge of parmesan cheese to my workplace for lunch and proceeded to devour the entire thing before the stunned gazes of my coworkers -- and one very impressed 13 year old.

I'd still say there are far more unattractive parts than just feet.
I gotta say, the dick region is pretty bad. But that's not to say that there aren't vaginas that look bad too. Arby's roast beef anyone?
Armpits are nasty too because the smell, but also the hair and they can appear darker than the rest of the body sometimes, which is ugly, but not actually too bad, still worse than feet imo unless you got some really gnarly feet for some reason.
But neither of those even hold a candle to a lot of people's faces. I'd rather look on some people's feet in a conversation than have to maintain gaze at their ugly mug.

I don't understand why some people freak out over feet. It's like, they're just fucking feet. But hey -- we're all different.

It's not lack of understanding, it's acknowledging that you don't know everything, and that there is no explanation that will currently explain how the laws of the universe were created from nothing (that is any better than a eternal being created them).
But that doesn't make it magic.
And "Magic" may seem like a dirty word to you, but it's generally used to designate a system (usually logical that works the same way or close every time) to change the laws of nature or create things out of nothing).
Yeah, maybe hundreds of years ago it was.

No, your lack of understanding on a subject does not make it magic.

There are so many failures baked into this assertion I don't even know where to begin, so I will just say that you're proving my point, that if you think these are even remotely comparable, then you understand neither of the things you're talking about.

Much like treating the text literally is an affront both to the purpose of the text and to actual history, equivocating the natural world with the supernatural displays a fundamental failure of your understanding. Both are rooted in ignorance.

This apologia does nothing but harm the faith.
We'll said, brother.

I always wondered what other songs the White Striped did. I only know Seven Nation Army (and not just from the remix).
