The Supreme Court shut down some anti-abortion laws back when it was a big issue in the US, but it was shut down for being way too much, and the court actively encouraged the government to create a more constitutional law banning abortion. It never happened, but the act of abortion isn't even as protected as much as it is in the States, and the States doesn't protect it that much. Its not likely to happen given how unpopular the idea is up here, but if the States overturns Roe v. Wade and banning abortion becomes an acceptable thing again, it'll probably trickle up here eventually too. |

IIRC I think the only battle you actually need to do in BDSP right now (or theoretically at least) is Fantina (Gym 5) so you can unlock Surf. Basically everything else can be glitched around. |

That means she can spread her transphobic junk to more people than there are in Belgium. Or for a different example, that's more people than there are in Pennsylvania, the 5th highest populated state in the US. so the problem is she's spouting off toxic ideologies towards a minority group, to a huge audience, where she is in a position of respect amongst many of them, and every time someone tries to educate her or explain the issue or whatever, she doubles down on the awful rhetoric. |

Trainers have maxed out EV's, IV's, competitive movesets and more advanced AI so they can give you a good ass whoopin technically, it doesn't seem to be much different from the Battle Towers of other games, but there's a lot of post game stuff that amps up the difficulty (I won't include it since you don't want spoilers) I was watching a poketuber try to finish Diamond on Thursday (Australian release day) and kept getting wrecked just at the end of the game, not even the post game. |

Though Wired headphones do have legitimate merit beyond just being hipster. The most important one being if you need a cheap pair of headphones, a wired pair will be much better than a bluetooth version at the same price, until you get way up to the expensive stuff, in which the difference probably isn't notable. If you aren't buying something at like, AirPods level of quality, you're probably better off with a wired pair for the price. There's also needing to charge them. I forget all the ****ing time to charge my Samsung Buds Live that they are basically useless a lot, and I have my headphones in like, all the time. A wired pair fits my needs way better. I also don't think the extra convenience is that much more than the convenience of putting the wire through my shirt or something so i can just let my earbuds hang if not in use. Also the airpods are one of the least recyclable things in Apple's lineup. Its not like they care that much about the environment, but they can't even strip airpods for parts really. Pretty much just need to throw those out entirely. Wireless headphones have plenty of value for sure, but I would've greatly preferred in I could still use wired headphones without needing to go out of my way to find a specific phone to fit my interests. Its a headphone jack, it shouldn't be this rare. |
