You're catching on. Old Testament god isn't hugs and kisses, he's the narcissist boss that ducks with his underlings. He murdered half the the world in a flood because he didn't like how they were doing things. He tested his most loyal servant by convincing him to murder his son.

If God created everything and loves us, than why he create bad things beyond anyone's control. Their body or brain can betray them either through natural causes or an abusive childhood. Why would God create disabilities and mental illness? Why are some people burdened with evil urges that they must actively suppress to not do something horrible? Some of them don't even have the capability to know or care that it's wrong.

Did God create everything, or was he merely a catalyst with no input beyond the initial push? If it's the former, he's a bit of an evil being for allowing innocent victims to be killed, injured and abused, especially in ways beyond anyone's control.

The first story in the bible is literally about how humanity got to live in paradise and fucked it up so now we have to live in the real world.

No one is saying all criticisms against the movie come from a bigoted place, but when they're specifically calling wokeness and forced diversity that's a big clue that it is.

Not liking the movie is totally fine, but the example you used is focusing on "wokeness" and "forced diversity" so I'd definitely say there's racism at play there.

Most actual reviewers aren't those type of people, however, and I'd say they're probably focusing more on the actual merits of the movie.

Personally I'm excited to see it. If anything it looks interesting and like it might be a break from the typical marvel formula.

Ridley Scott has always been a director with interesting half assed ideas that work out half the time.

He's like a Stephen King for the film world. While their works are very different tonally, their output is incredibly similar in that it's basically a 50/50 shot as to whether something's good, but it's nearly always at least interesting or based on an interesting premise or idea.

I always felt like the graphics were inconsistent. Not in quality, but in how the textures of character models didn't really mesh with the the textures of the world itself. It felt like they lifted characters from another game and placed them into a world they weren't supposed to be in.

JRPGs at least. For some reason devs think making a fight 15 minutes long because the enemy has 1m hp is good design and I'll never figure it out. I gave Xenoblade Chronicles 2 a shot because everyone said it was a good Switch RPG and holy shit even the regular enemies take like 5 minutes to kill sometimes, this is terrible. The fights aren't even hard, they're just annoying because they last so long and the battle system isn't good enough for me to want them to be drawn out.

Again, it's not even the not checking in on her that she's really upset. She expressed to TC that she feels like he's gotten too comfortable with her and isn't making her feel like an important part of his life. Not checking in is just a symptom, not the problem.

TC wants to "win" this argument? What he should do is make an effort to make her feel appreciated. "I don't feel important and you've gotten comfortable" is another way of saying "I don't feel like this is worthwhile because you're not putting in the same effort as I am" and she's going to leave soon.

Everytime people complain about actors not looking like the original character it makes me question if they know that the only important thing is if they can act like the character.

Like complaining about this girl not looking just like Ellie seems so weird because nothing about Ellie's appearance matters to her character other than being a small girl. Same for Joel, all he needs to be is a bigger guy that can believably fist fight. Beyond that, we all know that Pedro has a wide acting range and this girl presumably auditioned better than the droves of actresses that went up for a lead role on an HBO show.

Just apologize and move, this shouldn't be a big deal to either of you. She expressed that she felt you were getting too comfortable and not making her feel important, so make an effort to do that. That's her issue, not you forgetting to text her. Make her feel appreciated.

Now, if you do that and she still brings this up or is still saying she doesn't feel important I would worry. But now? No, this is normal shit, she just expressed it poorly. 5 years in people will feel comfortable and stop doing the little things that make the other partner feel loved and special. The good news is she expressed this to you so you can act on it. Some people will just drift apart and break up without talking about it, but you've got a chance to make the relationship last.
