no I know what you mean. Im super paranoid and over protective but hes really earned the freedom. I never let him off leash where there could be cars but otherwise hes earned my trust where I know he wont disappear.

and if he hears an owl hes gonna just climb me so the only thing I worry about is rattle snakes since he really wants to eat snakes.. but this time of year I dont have to worry about that either.

I guess coyotes since hes only sorta scared of that sound but he stays in sight and Ill fucking choke slam all the coyotes if they ever fuck with Walter.

I wasnt raised religious and I havent been to church in like 20 years but I did get religion for a while when I was in my late teens. I tried a buncha different churches and denominations and mostly... ugh. There was one church I went to with a girl I was seeing and it was actually really pretty awesome. Like they didnt push for money or anything and they didnt have all these barriers and bs and then at youth group one time a girl opened up about how she was a lesbian and they told her she needed to be not a lesbian and I was like well fuck I guess all organized religion is trash then.

Ive seen religion really help people Ive loved and stuff and I dont think its bad but also... man.

Like established church religion is like "you like a deicide song? eternal damnation!" ANd I doubt god gives a fuck if you wanna rock some black metal.

It wouldnt be overstating it to say hes been an incredible boost to my mental health since Ive had him. Sometimes when Im in the worst kind of mood he starts attacking my legs over and over and for a moment i get mad, but eventually its just hilarious and it snaps me out of it every time. i got desert, forests, wetlands, mountains, huge clay banks, old volcanic sights, fossils, and lakes all within biking distance.

i could be wrong but I think the south end of the valley is one of the most biologically diverse places on earth if not the most. Pretty much everything is here but a rainforest. But we have forests and its raining so imma count it.

I only ever shot one deer ever and I felt really bad and decided I didnt wanna do it no more. It is the most moral / ethical / standup way to get meat if done responsibly though (imo).
