Plus that Aquaman series was far better then it had any right to be and it needs to be seen by more people. I love ripping on Aquaman and that joke in the first episode of Peacemaker was aces. I kinda want a throwaway scene with John and Jason, just have Aquaman come up to Peacemaker and start beefing him for telling people that he has intercourse with fish.

Thanks for participating, but you have not been paying attention to the the 19 states that have passed (aprox.) fifty different laws to make it difficult (if not impossible) to vote if you are a person of colour, a student, or just a democrat in general. The election in 2022 will not be with the same rules as the election of 2020.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is constantly explaining the concept of "clearing one's own orbit," which is what Anton is setting up in the first couple minutes of the video, on a two dimensional plane, the orbits of Pluto and Neptune cross twice; if you kept watching you would have seen Anton explain why this is a ridiculous way to classify a planet, and why on a three dimensional plane, it is innaccurate.

An ex post facto argument that is not the reason the IAU downgraded Pluto. The IAU came up with three criteria for planethood:

1)It has to orbit a star
2) It has to be in hydrostatic equilibrium
3) it has to clear it's own orbit.

That's it. Pluto was downgraded because of number three, clearing the neighbourhood of it's own orbit.

Once you get past the IAU's reasoning for downgrading Pluto, Anton outlines the theory put forward in "Moons are planets: Scientific usefulness versus cultural teleology in the taxonomy of planetary science" [https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0019103521004206] where the authors ultimately argue that a planet should be defined as such, so long as it has its own complex internal geological processes.

The reasoning is sound, (though I'm not sure how gas giants would fit into that taxonomy) enough so that I am willing to say the Neil deGrasse Tyson is wrong, and Pluto should be considered a planet, along with the nearly one hundred fifty other dwarf planets and satellites.

That's not what he said. He was explaining how Pluto crosses Neptune's orbit in a way that brings it closer to the sun then Neptune (at certain points in Pluto's orbit) and because of that reasoning, the IAU downgraded Pluto.

I think other countries need to stop downplaying the long-term safety that gun ownership ensures in America. The general populace being armed means the government's power over us has a limitation.

That may have been true once upon a time when guns where single shot muzzle loaded, but hasn't been true for decades, and certainly not in our life times. Your semi-automatic rifle is not going to protect you from a tank, or a reaper drone or a nuclear weapon; if anything it will only help to identify you as an enemy combatant.

I used to play with my sister, it was one of the few board games she actually liked, and she was a decent beginner, but she was good enough to figure out I was throwing games against her, so she got angry and stopped playing with me.

With most games I was good enough that I could at least make it seem like we were close in skill level but not with Go, I made too many moves that were obviously wrong given the level of my play style.

Pretty much, same creative team, similar premise, we'll have to see if it makes it to the end of the first season. It'll need a second season if it hopes to make it past That 80's Show blistering record of 13 episodes.

Starring Hillary Duff and Kim Cattrall as Sophie, who tells her son how she met his father. From the same team that brought us How I Met Your Mother, they keep the theme song and the apartment from the original but otherwise it is a new story and cast with just the apartment (and a throwaway line about the old married couple who used to own it) to connect it the OG. There is an In Memoriam for Bob at the end of the Pilot.

HIMYM was lightning in a bottle but I only started watching after a three or four seasons had already been released. Only two episodes up atm, so maybe wait till March 15th and binge the entire season then.

No real laugh out loud moments yet, some decent chuckles, the characters are endearing and I can see myself investing time into caring about them.

The scene where Andrew cracks Tobey's back was a nice inclusion, seeing as the role gave him back problems and he wanted to quit after the first one.

He's done three seasons of Miracle Workers with Steve Buscemi, it's a decent comedy. Missed his Dirk Gently series, should look it up at some point.

They replaced the gyms entirely with the Island Trials where you had to fight a "boss" type pokemon that would call in allies to help it out, then a Grand Trial where you would face the strongest trainer on the island. Still had the elite four though.

And of course his supporters are now convinced that' it's not actually Trump that's telling them to get their shots, but a body double, as part of some sort of deep state conspiracy.

Oh yeah, its, uh, it's "special" in a short bus kind of way.

At least they have an actual Bruce Wayne that they can refer to as Batman (looking at you Gotham) even if he doesn't actually wear the suit or show it onscreen.

I think I am partial to it because they film in Southern Ontario and I love figuring out where they shot each scene, (there was a scene in the first season in a motel that is practically right up the street from me and it was a treat to watch them destroy it on screen before it got demolished irl) but both The Boys and The Umbrella Academy exist and are much better shows that are shot locally.

There was a scene in this season of Titans I instantly recognized as the one that got a crew member killed. A damn shame, but it was also the best season so far, but then that second season really set the bar low. I'll probably still watch the fourth season when it comes out.

Really gald they put Cyborg on Doom Patrol instead of with the Titans.

Yeah, Aquaman is juvenile in a PG-13 way, but it's good entertainment, something I could watch with my nephew and still enjoy on it's merits (and laugh at the jokes that would go over his head) I've watched it through a couple of times by myself

Plus Ocean Master! steals nearly every scene he is in, and now I can't say (or type) Ocean Master! without that exclamation point at the end.

Just watched The Suicide Squad again, there is a slight continuity error between the after credits scene and the first episode Peacemaker's left leg is busted up in the after credits scene but it's his right shoulder in the first episode.

It would be a neat concept for a more adult oriented pokemon game:

Imagine a 50 year old having a midlife crisis decides to quit their job and become a pokemon trainer, gets their ass kicked by ten year olds.

US/UM were the last mainline games I played and there was a lot of handholding throughout the game, it would be a nice change of pace if there was some actual difficulty progression like the early games, maybe make the nuzlocke rules an official mode for a real challenge.

Well there's your problem: Compassion.

Family Law is not designed for reconciliation or amicable separations, it's an adversarial system designed to make money for the lawyers; you have to be ruthless and uncaring or you will be eaten alive.

There is a solution, but it requires making lawyers public servants and removing the free market incentives from the industry, so nothing will ever change under our current capitalist system.
