I was surprised the whole backgrounds are actual dioramas they physically built and photographed thing got nothing more than a passing reference in the Fantasian segment of the Direct. That was one of the primary things they were pushing when the game first came out!

I have to believe theyre planning something different for Dragon Quest I+II. The last ten percent of DQ3 is near-identical to the majority of DQ1 so I cant imagine why Horii would recommend playing them in that order unless something special was planned. I think it was a mistake for them to make Rogue Prince of Persia playable at the time they did and in the state they did. Even after their delay to dodge Hades II, absolutely nobody talked about it. Plus it hadn't even been six months since the other sidescrolling Prince of Persia game. Should've just let it keep cooking

my biggest problem with Hunters was the Shadow Freezing glitch in multiplayer

Wouldnt be surprised if eventually you can make an echo of a sword and then carry it around, but not until fairly late in the game. They already showed her picking up objects and throwing them at enemies, thats pretty close to direct combat

I can't imagine telling a person to play Dragon Quest I immediately after III. The last ten percent of III is the same as like eighty percent of I, so you'd just be retreading ground

Yeah that is a bit annoying, but when you're picking a character or a skin, it shows the tags they have in the top right.

And then there might be missions that want swimsuit or something where that Superman skin will obviously count but then regular can't. Gotta be consistent

There are still some minor inconsistencies with thisyou cant see him now but Iron Giants Superman skin makes him count as a DC character when his normal skin doesnt, but then Velmas Joker graphic tee skin doesnt make her have the DC tag

the third one can be completed without any multiplayer if you have the right characters unlocked

The training mission wasnt completing a rift with all mission nodes complete, it was to get all the missions nodes on the boss complete

if there is some ringout challenge you're annoyed by, like six ringouts on the bottom of the stage with a certain character class for example, do the banana guard treasure challenge in the third rift. He will try to get back on stage when you knock him off, but otherwise doesn't attack you

I think 3 is the best if you want something you can easily beat in one sitting. 4 has a few more levels and the levels themselves are a bit longer so it could take a couple sessions
