AA1 was boring, but hopefully 2 is better

It's not quite the huge gap in quality that GAA2 is compared to 1, but it's still much, much better.

Also looks like they used Monolith to do the world design so it just looks like another Xenoblade.

And the graphics looks 10 years old at best.

This was the best direct I remember, maybe even best direct for me ever
4 games I am excited about (M&L, AAI collection, Zelda and MP4)

My only complaint is the 2025 release window for MP4 and not a exact release date, but after 7 years of waiting, this is good enough

Investigations 2 easily the winner here and it's not even close.

I'm very interested in the Kodaka game and all the new Kodakaness, but as always a Kodaka game with actually gameplay instead of a VN is always going to be iffy lol.

Yeah I was kinda hoping at this point it was a next gen thing.

Prime 4 is definitely cross-gen

honestly should've flipped prime 4 and zelda in terms of the show

that was a pretty good direct. I didn't love Investigations 2 but it's way better than the first one and I'm glad people in the west can actually purchase and play it officially

Metroid Prime 4, great.

Very solid Direct, more new games than I expected.

Based on that trailer alone, I really think they should have saved MP4 for the next console. It looks really dated.

Someone I heard something from told me DKC remake and somehow even interpreted it as the SNES games being remade. I guess they didn't see anything themselves, just heard "DKC remake" and jumped to conclusions.

I thought MP4 looked pretty good by Switch standards, smooth performance is the main thing. Will probably be crossgen so anyone who wants better graphics should be able to anyway.

MP4 could've looked better, but it was just a quick snippet and I barely got a feel for it. If the gameplay is solid, I'm still in.

Wish the Romancing SaGa 2 remake had kept the sprites. Not sure how I feel about it being fully 3D.

Yeah there just wasn't anything in that trailer. It was like just typical opening action setpieces.

Sylux was nice to see again

Prime 4 reveal is... weird. It's like they don't really wanna show much of its Switch 1 state so what we see looks really early. Barely more than a teaser.

Breath of the Wild was a Switch 1 game and was revolutionary compared to previous Zelda games.
