The main story was gripping enough, but what really got me was how much it parallels America today.

Just like Afghanistan, we too now know what it feels like to watch our system of government fall apart as the terrorists take over.

MAGA may not be quite yet on the level of the Taliban, but the book's depiction of trucks filled with Talib soldiers, roaming the streets of Kabul looking for anyone who commits a "crime" (even if it's a just a woman who talks too loudly) gave me vivid images of masked ICE agents roaming the streets of US cities, looking for anyone who seems foreign enough to throw into a cell without trial.

WASHINGTONIn the latest of a series of escalations in President Donald Trumps highly publicized war on woke, the U.S. Department of Justice reportedly removed all mentions of justice from its website Friday.

The purge follows a directive from the DOJ last week to roll back pro-justice programs and delete thousands of webpages that contained banned words, including fairness, integrity, due process, and honor. Citing an executive order from the president, Attorney General Pam Bondi directed her department to comb through all its articles, images, videos, and social media posts to remove any un-American, leftist propaganda related to upholding the rule of law, keeping the nation safe, or protecting citizens rights.

Justice is a discriminatory form of woke cultural Marxism that has no place in our Justice Department, Bondi said during a press conference, adding that pro-justice policies actively divided Americans, spread misinformation, and distracted from the DOJs core mission. Anyone who says that justice is our departments strengthor that we should promote dangerous ideals that imply Americans will be treated with dignity or compassion in the eyes of the lawis sadly mistaken.

To ensure compliance, Bondi ordered the deletion of every word in the
phrase equal justice under the law.

Thanks to Donald Trump, justice is dead, she added. And this is just the beginning.

According to a memo issued by Bondi, officials were given one week to search through the vast DOJ archives and purge historical photographs, educational articles, and even training courses that describe, for example, how U.S. attorneys offices have fought for everyday Americans and upheld their basic rights. They were also instructed to comb through the vast archives of the departments Antitrust, Civil Rights, Criminal, and Environmental divisions to flag any instance in which the agency wielded its power to hold a powerful person, corporation, or government agency accountable.

The Trump administration praised the Justice Departments swift and thorough compliance, including its decision to fire hundreds of morality obsessed employees who were in any way associated with upholding the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, or the Judiciary Act of 1789.

Joe Biden held the DOJ hostage with his woke agenda for four years, forcing us to have a functional legal system, said Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), adding that the departments website should have never contained blatantly partisan photos of things like federal courts, gavels, or the scales of justice. Bondi acknowledged that amid the urgency to remove offending materials, several articles describing the DOJs role in acts of injustice, evil, and unbridled terror had been deleted inadvertently. As soon as the mistake was noticed, however, such materials were quickly restored, including those that praise the department for using COINTELPRO to destabilize the Civil Rights Movement, expanding warrantless surveillance under the Patriot Act, and defending Japanese internment camps during World War II. Many pieces of content that had previously highlighted a victim of violence, oppression, or a hate crime overcoming injustice or earning a hard-fought legal victory had also reportedly been changed to show them losing their case, being sentenced to life in prison, and ultimately regretting speaking up or resisting at all.

Lady Justice is a symbol of the radical woke left and does not in any way represent our values, said Bondi, adding that citizens were sick and tired of having fair-
mindedness and even-handedness shoved down their throats. The American people have historically preferred to stand on the sidelines and stay silent in the face of injustice. In these first few months of Donald Trumps second term, they have proved that again and again.

The glitch, if you're interested, is you go to Zora's domain, get to the bottom of the stairs to King Zora, then use Z-targeting to back-walk up them. There's a loading trigger about halfway up (the wall darkens a bit and you'll hear the sound of torches crackling) that spawns in King Zora's throne room. Once you hit that point, simply pull out a trade item or drink a bottle item. Turn around, walk up the stairs so you can see King Zora, then back-walk so he despawns; walk back up and he will be unfrozen.

Depends on if you're 100%ing, the magic beans are a biggish investment.

The game literally showers you with free money everywhere you go, and you only carry an absolute maximum of 500 anyway.

Getting the hookshot, getting Epona, leaping the broken bridge in Gerudo Valley, doing the Ice Cavern, and all the other steps required for getting Biggoron's Sword as early as possible wad easily my favorite sequence of events in OoT; I lived for that shit every time I started a new playthrough.

Again, if you just buy Blue Fire you don't even need to go into the Ice Cavern early

I recently played it and beat it. I very much liked it, the gameplay felt amazing. But maybe it's because The last 3D Mario game of this style that I put a ton of time into was Mario 64, but I just felt that the game had too many moons to the point that it didn't feel special getting them. In 64, every star felt specially crafted, the levels would in some cases be altered depending on which star you were going for. in Odyssey, you just find them laying around all over the place. I think for me this is punctuated in how some of them have cutscenes when you grab them. I get that it's for story related ones, but it doesn't change that it feels weird getting a special cutscene for this one when I found 5 laying in ditches on the way to this one.

I also didn't like how even if you disable motion control, the game still basically makes you do it anyway.

Yeah, for as much flack as Sunshine gets I always liked how each sprite had its own "Episode" with a unique theme and goal

Unfortunately, this also pretty much forces the player to collect them in order.
In 64, you could get (almost) any star on any course if you knew where to look and what to do.
