The biggest problem I had with 3MB is that every week was the same match against Los Matadores for like six months. I mean, it all culminated in the outstanding WeeLC match... with Drew and Jinder gone from the company less than a month later... because why?

Huh. The problem with regularly clicking this topic is missing out on notifications that you had anything picked off. Also, I was distracted by Ernest, you know what I mean? How can one inspiring person such as yours truly get away with missing three whole songs getting bumped off the wall? Why, with the refreshing taste of cool Tropicana orange juice. Anywho, I spent my work shift listening to the first 33 eliminations until my batteries went low and wanted to do some quick notes before I forget.

The Rightful King - Complete agreement. There's about a minute that's 10/10 S-Tier greatness, but the first nine minutes are utterly forgettable and it ends with a nice but unneeded Circle of Life callback.

How to Listen III: Open Ears hear the Multiplied (Building a Structure, Show me Your Face, Multiplied) - Very very very Earthbound-ish. The voice is hella annoying like a mosquito. The more it goes on, the more it feels like a Giygas theme.

He tulivat taivaan rist - As someone who barely knows Simpsons references, it feels more like a cacophony of bugs. High whiners, bell-ringers, chirpers, alien clickety-clackety-flappity-limbs... it's like a cascade of bugs coming together to make a weird very disturbing circus.

Carry On Wayward Son - Did I read your write-up? Yes. Do I understand it's low placement? Absolutely. Did you know back in 1835, Samuel Colt made a special gun? They say this gun can kill anything. Did you know my battery went low because I listened partially to this song at least fourteen times in a row? 15 Seasons of Winchester.

Now for my lost trio

Message to Bears: I sometimes get in a mood to listen to the Life is Strange soundtrack and had recently added this to a few of my Spotify playlists. The song hits emotionally, not just because of gameplay (partly because I don't remember exactly when it is but I can feel the pain) but because of those opening notes and how lost and trail-not-travelled it feels. There's a nice meditative natural feel that hits me greatly in the first minute or so that hits me with a calmer clearer outlook. Good for washing away some anxieties. I'm less a fan of when the vocals come in though.

Broken Dreams: I wanted to nominate a WWE theme, and Too Cool was taken. I agree, it's not amazing at length, and I really only liked the theme one time.

You're On Your Own Kid: I've never been big on Taylor Swift. I could name maybe five songs off the top of my head, and enjoyed some of them well enough and others... not much. Then The Eras Tour came to theaters, and it was in like ten of our fourteen auditoriums almost sold out. I checked in a few times to check out the songs, the outfits, the dancers, the audience. It was neat, not much more.

But the time I slipped in and heard this song, I was left shaken. You're absolutely right; it's a lot of emotions flying fast and none of them linger long. I think that was the magic of it. It just keeps you off your toes a bit, not sure where it's going, where it came from, if itsnihilistic, angry, despairing, or hopeful. And the ending... after all that build-up and pain and life experience and vulnerability-to-armor, after all the lonely isolation of being all on your own.

It feels so... empowering and uplifting, like a hand reaching out through the radio reminding you to take a deep breath and get back up and push onward. It flipped over the chessboard completely. I cried. Not a huge sob, but tears streamed down my face in the back of a dark auditorium while I was on shift and I had to covertly collect myself.

Since then, I've listened to at least five full albums, favorited a dozen of her songs, and listened to her latest the day it came out (and many times since). I think YOYOK might be my favorite song of hers, and it's definitely changed my Spotify playlists (well, that, and the five Olivia Rodrigo songs I had to rank, :p)

I probably saw Lindsey Stirling on television first on a talent show of some kind, but I don't remember seeing her until this video. The music video was insane and the way the music so complemented the action throughout blew me away. The music is so good, full or energy and action. It's kinetic.

Eh... not many know the series, but Exile/Avernum. Wall of text approaching.

Ooh, I need to play 3. I played the old Shareware Exile & Exile II way back when six character parties and giant lists of spells were a thing, and I beat Avernum about a decsde back. I should try again.

My problem is I'm a kleptomaniac in these games, not knowing what will be needed later. I have mountains of useless clay bricks, cups, dice, cutlery, ROCKS, unsold gemstones, abaci, goblets, etc. in various barrels or on floors all over them.

Can't believe we're nearing the end of an event-fileld year of this~

First one is... a good popcorn flick, I want to say. Tom Hardy is stellar and his interplay with the symbiote is worth the price of admission. It has some good and fun action scenes. But if you're expecting a plot to make any sense, or a villain who's not just straight ass, you'd be hardpressed to find it.

I enjoyed and hated the movie. It's not anywhere close to the best comic book movies, but if you were to stack it up against early/mid-2000s comic book movies or the majority of DC's non-Batman lineup, it'd fare pretty well.

It's odd. Not usually. Like, if it's a big thing or unexpected like Chadwick Boseman or Michael K. Williams, it gets me, but it never feels personal. A recent one that did hit me sideways was when Tim Wakefield of the Red Sox died. That wrecked me for days, and I still can't figure out why.

First emotional moment in a game?
Illusion of Gaia. There are a few in there like waking up on the Gold Ship, Seth on the Gold Ship, the back alleys of Freejia, the vision in Angkor Wat, and the end of the game. But the biggest one is easily, easily, easily Hamlet's sacrifice.

What trilogy would you say has the best conclusion to its story?
I mean... Phoenix Wright. Oooh... the MCU Spider-Man movies, as of now. It's kind of cheating, but it's also a fantastic conclusion for Amazing Spider-Man, too so it kind of double-counts. Mistborn Era 1 was reaaaally good, too. Oh! And Hunger Games Mockingjay. That hurt.

Whats your most painful loss as a sports fan?
Tim Wakefield, again. I rarely paid attention to sports. My first actual season of paying attention and following from start-to-finish was the 2004 Red Sox and I was happy and done after that. I've always kind of disassociated from the Patriots, don't watch basketball or hockey or anything else... I think I've watched a few World Cups, mainly women's, but can't think of anything that made me hurt. I remember the loss to Japan was like... yeah, that sucks, but I was kind of also rooting for Japan after the nuclear disaster.
