I was once asked permission to reference one of my videos, and one other time I was asked if would consent to my channel being shouted out/linked to. I wasn't offered any money though. :/You can turn those off before you upload your vids so you don't have to deal with it. But the thing is, I don't see this song belonging anywhere on Thriller. The style of it just don't fit in with the rest of album. Do you? If so, after which song? Maybe as the closure?

Problem with comics are various different versions of said character, you mentioned a bullet with Kryptonite laced wouldn't be fatal, yet, I remember Super Man dying just being exposed to a Kryptonite stone in one of those future Super Boy arc.
