or Nonsense, it's simple math. If you burn more calories then you consume, you will lose weight. The thing that's not simple is that it's not always easy or consistent to measure caloric intake or especially burn. --- Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less. |

| K181 02/16/24 3:48:52 PM #21 | Simple. You're either undercounting your intake, overcounting your caloric burn, or are currently retaining more than you think in water or poo.
Weight loss isn't consistent and plateaus are common, especially with metabolic changes that come with dieting. If you're sticking to an honest diet and starting an exercise regime, you will lose weight, though admittedly maybe not as fast as you would like. Animals evolved to retain fat stores for a very good reason, so they can burn slowly unfortunately in this circumstance. --- Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less. |

I got into the light gun and Duck Hunt pretty fast, but Zelda 2 a year or so later was my first obsessive videogame.

damn, thats amazing! Any advice to prevent runners colitis? I'm not really good at giving advice. Dealt with the shits from time to time at start, but basically just made sure to not eat before running. I started running as part of boxing road work, so I basically learned through trial and error and ran improperly for a while at first. It's basically second nature for me at this point over twenty years later, though. The more you run, the more body just gets used to the demands and mechanics of running, as well as its side effects. --- Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less. |

Admittedly, even as a daily runner though, I cant imagine running marathons much more than once or twice a year. --- Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less. |

In MMA and boxing, fighters train for months on end to build up stamina to handle a handful of five minute rounds for the former or up to a dozen three minute rounds for the latter, and even at high levels most don't have the staying power to reach a decision due to getting their guts worked to hell and back Put a WWE wrestler in the ring or octagon and they'll be gasping for breath after only a couple rounds, guaranteed. --- Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less. |

Also, the brass horn falling down there was always great. The treasure maps identifying special armor and the like was a neat touch, too. --- Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less. |
