This is a tough choice, but I'm going to side with nick. I loved toonami as a kid, adult swim and toonheads was amazing. But nick has a lot of timeless shows where some of the cartoon network shows don't hold up as well.

Neopets is where the 315 from my username came from. My username for neopets added a 315 because it was taken and I have been using it ever since.

They are both bad but for different reasons. In general Krispy Kream probably tastes a bit better, but is so sickening sweet I'd probably take a dunking over it even if the doughnuts always taste stale even when they are fresh.

Unfortunately, he had to come up with something Republicans would actually accept, which was a tall order even without considering any actual political ideology because the official GOP position since Obama was elected has been "don't let the Democrats accomplish anything ever." Getting a genuine socialist policy through would have been impossible.

If memory serves, he had a super majority and the aca didn't end up getting republican votes even with all the compromises he made, so it was all useless anyway.

Guy should have pushed for a public option rather than just rebranded romneycare.

Personally, I'm not a big fan, but I'll give credit where it's due. The power ranger lore is actually pretty interesting and if I enjoyed action series more I'd be big into the comics of it if nothing else.

From what I have seen the power ranger lore actually beats out the DC comics lore and I would actually consider watching a phase 1 marvel movieverse style franchise of the power rangers.

Dance, cheerleading, theatre. If I had to pick one of those, tennis. I had friends on the doubles varsity team and I tried to play with them casually, but holy shit was I out of my league.

I don't know. I think I would have been fine with a visa gift card, cash, or even a stack of scratch off tickets over gift cards to restaurants that aren't bad, but also aren't places I go out of my way to eat at. I wouldn't really consider those more thoughtful than a panda express gift card.

I'm going to cook a nice meal for myself, enjoy a day of binge watching some programs I'm behind on, maybe have a couple drinks, and I bought myself an embroidery set so I'm going to try out a new hobby.

No, I was with family, but I wish I spent it alone. Christmas sucked this year.

A little rant about my holiday, spoilered because complaining about spending time with family and getting gifts is annoying, but it felt good to type some of it out, so Im going to post it anyway:

The best part of it was the food. Most of which was made by me. My aunt made some really good potato skins, but other than that there was some prepurchased Arby's roast beef in a slow cooker, some slow cooker mac and cheese, some generic dollar store dinner rolls, not terrible stuff, but nobody really tried to do anything special for the holiday. Meanwhile I made 5 different kinds of cookies and desserts, a platter of candied bacon, I got some nice cheeses that you might not normally splurge on and get a chance to try for a cheese and meat platter, and some barbecue meatballs. Nothing super fancy, but I put in some effort and wanted people to enjoy what I did bring.

But hey Christmas is about fun and family and reconnecting. Well the party games all involved singling people out to laugh at their attempts. Things like drawing a Christmas tree using your own head as a table and trying to flip ribbons into a bowl on your head while blindfolded. And Christmas was hosted at my racist, sexist, homophobic uncle's house and half the family didn't show up. Which may or may not have been a coincidence. Hard to say if that's legit how things fell on the schedule this year or if everyone chose the same year to visit the in-laws for a reason.

Well there's always presents? It was a white elephant. I brought a couple of comics and a gift card in case the person who got it didn't like comics, but there were enough kids and guys who liked the marvel films around I thought someone might enjoy them. All together it was around ~$30 what did I walk away with? A dusty case of expired Ramen.

Well what about Christmas morning with the parents, the brother, his new girlfriend and her daughter, the 3 nephews?. It was better. My mom and I made brunch together, had a nice morning, and I gave out some nice gifts. My dad has joined the YMCA since retiring earlier this year and he got a nice gym bag and some gym stuff, my mom got a high quality wool cardigan and some slippers because she has been complaining about how cold it is around the house, my brother has a puppy and had commented on wanting a nice dog bed for his puppy, so I got one similar to my own dogs that his dog likes to use when she comes over and I made sure it was in a design and color that would fit his house. I didn't know the girlfriend well but I know she likes woobles so I got her a few crochet sets. And all 4 of the kids got gift cards for a shopping spree and some smaller gifts to open. And in return I got gift cards to restaurants I don't really eat at unless I both don't want to cook and don't want to eat someplace nice or fast. It felt more like getting me something to get me something rather than giving any thought to what I may want. And I didn't want anything, I didn't need anything, I wasn't expecting anything, but the lack of thought in what I did get kind of hurt. I like eating out, I like good food, some gift cards to my favourite restaurants or a nice restaurant I dont go to often because of the price would have been appreciated. Instead it was just chain store stuff like they just went to the gift card station at Walmart and grabbed cards to whatever was available and saying good enough.

Christmas with the other side of the family was much better, smaller, more inclusive games, better food, cheap gifts, but with actual thought behind them but I had a headache and I had to work the next day and had to cut out early. All in all a terrible Christmas this year and I should have saved myself a few hundred bucks and 2 and a half days worth of cooking and baking and just spent the day alone.

This is a real book. The lady's website reads as if she is some genius who learned you could leave butter at room temperature and soft spreadable butter is better than hard cold butter. She even talks about research she has funded to prove it.

I don't like my feet being incase in anything, but I also like my feet to be warm. Large soft warm blankets are the best.

As a huge lion king fan, I hope he's right.

Depends what I'm using it for. I prefer shredding it myself, as I can use higher quality cheese, but I can't deny the convenience of a bag of shredded mozzarella if I am making home made pizzas.

Very small spoilers from the beginning of the movie.
The scene where fluke gets his name is where he is doing a trick with a homeless lady and she has managed to scrape by enough money for them to eat that day. And then some guy puts her down saying the dog doing tricks is just a fluke. She responds visibly upset saying the dog is her fluke.

A much bigger spoiler that happens directly after that scene
the homeless lady gets sick and dies leaving the puppy alone on the streets.

I don't mind retail. If I could own my own small but profitable store with one or two other employees. I would do so in a heartbeat.

The problem is bigger retail stores, meeting pointless qoutas made for other stores in other markets. Trying to keep up with an unlimited growth model in a limited growth environment and doing so with most of your fellow workers only being there because they have no other options and so give the most mediocre amount of effort. And use store policy as a guideline so when it comes to you they are already over promised and angry.

No. It looks like an amazing place, but there are so many amazing places in the world.

Fluke is a great film, but it wants to make you sad and then kick you when you're down. I swear every time you start thinking the film will get happier it shoves you down another flight of stairs and kicks you in the gut for thinking it could be nice for once.

As long as the story is good, I don't really mind the setting too much. That said a random high schooler is more relatable than a 45 year old plumber going through his 5th divorce. So I'd probably be more inclined to watch the high schooler unless the plumber had an interesting story.

It only shifted to 15% in the mid to late 80s if memory serves. And then that became 20 in the late 2000s early 2010's. And now 20 seems to be treated like a minimum.

Yes. 10% used to be a respectful tip. Now a lot of the tip screens are defaulting to 20% or more. My cousins kid sent a donation link around to raise money for his school hockey program. The donation site required a tip and set the default to 20%.

As others have said, most streamers probably just get the pleasure of talking to a few friends while they stream whatever they stream and probably never even make enough to cover the costs of streaming. If you mean the average of people who earn enough streaming that it becomes their full time job. Then it suddenly skews a lot higher. Because you are starting at a base of people who are successful.

There is definitely flaws with the writing and it likes reusing the same names a lot, but I have it set up a scenario and make my character interact with the world and follow its little adventure to some really odd places I would not have expected the story to go to.and because of its content policy it keeps trying to put a positive spin on even the bleakest of scenarios.

But ya I'm bored and that's how I've been killing my boredom this week.

I voted for Harris, but the blame for this election falls on Harris herself. And Biden if the rumors are true that he forced Harris onto the party when the party wanted an open convention.

"You guys shouldn't vote republican because they have bad policies. Also I am putting Republicans on my cabinet look at how many Republicans are supporting me. You should vote for me."

Turns out she got fewer republican votes than either Biden or Hilary. Walz was a stunning pick and I was excited to see where the campaign was going and then it went nowhere real fast. A bunch of safe promises, saying she would be any different than Biden, and literally all the ads I saw for her were about abortion, which yes is a huge concern but not the only one.

I get annoyed when people say it to me because when I don't say thank you they act snippy.

Why watch clueless when you could watch clue? Much more clue for your time and money.
