Im in Tokyo right now and went to a gay sauna last night. In addition to the usual sauna dark room, theres an area with a bunch of bunk beds where the bottoms hang out. Except the gimmick, in extremely Japan fashion, is that they pretend to be asleep. Like, actual fake-snoring asleep. I met a few other first-timers and we all bonded in our bewilderment lol.

Im vers but cant really get into topping in dark room situations so I was bottoming. Lets just say I was a popular boy last night. :)

Sounds interesting I dont mind topping in the dark, so I wouldnt mind trying it Haha.

Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition was probably one of my favorite Warriors games, tbh Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity was also fun. But I would definitely say I like Definitive Edition more

How many people have subscriptions to stuff they don't regularly use? That is why subscription services are being pushed so hard.

I know theyre not going to care. Doesnt make it less dumb, though. Between paying hundreds just to play that one game for a couple years vs paying $60 once to own it, Id rather own it Seems like a waste to pay that much

I mean, if you spend three months playing the game, that's roughly equivalent to buying it for $60. Obviously, that value calculation falls apart if you start looking at replaying it again in the future and needing to pay for it again, and that doesn't work out in your favour for games that would last you that long but cost less than $60, but it also does work in your favour if you play more games than that.

If you're only ever playing one game? Yeah, that's not so worthwhile. But it's still a pretty solid deal, if you're willing to accept the loss of control over your library (which is a big sticking point).

I think Im talking about the ones who play it everyday for like a year, or until the next one comes out. Paying $20 a month for just that seems like a lot

That would just be their justification to push for full cloud storage and streaming play. Don't have to worry about storage space when you're not storing anything locally.

My hunger is usually based around habit. So if it's not my habit to eat at that time or place it takes me a lot longer to get hungry

I can kind of be like that. For me, works starts between 2:30 and 4:00. And when I get there, I like to eat breakfast within the hour. If I wait too long, I start feeling really hungry. Yet, I dont feel the same when Im home and that time hits So, its kind of like that where my hunger strikes based on my habit. Same with Friday night and pizza Haha.

I do it all the time. I got into the habit of eating all my meals at work and I'd forget to eat on my offs days. On the rare occasions u had 3 days off in a row the hunger would hit me out of no where in that 3rd day.

I usually eat at least once a day, if I can. But some days, I sleep most, if not the whole day, away

A day is fine. Ive done that often. But you cant go too long

Probably depends on where you are. Where I am, you can get self-checkout lines fast because rarely anyone uses them. When I go to other places where everyone is trying to use them, it usually takes forever since people will go there with full carts

Im not really sure on the size of this one, tbh Its been a while since I was there. And its not exactly super close

The pizza thing is kinda weird at my store. Not sure why it works like that, but thats how it works there a few other things, as well, apparently

Well here there isn't a lot of positions to be had. There's the admin lady who handles well admin stuff. A nurse a teacher. There's the director who's the big boss. Shift supervisors and then us though us is split. There is security which is what u hired on ad and a YTC. But we do the same exact job. Only difference is security is under a temporary contract and I'm betting gets paid less. Definitely don't get the state benefits.

Yeah. I would guess the number of positions probably depend on the place. Some may have more positions, especially if they had more funding or something This place had a lot of fancy stuff, IIRC And I remember they had quite a few positions open. Honestly, an admin one would have been good enough for me. I like stuff like that

While Im not sure if the weight things is still a problem there (because I dont use them), I know Ive still seen some people struggling with fruits or veggies, or having to wait for a cashier for alcohol, or certain products. Just tonight, I was at a store where someone went to buy pizza. And scanned it. And the cashier who was off sweeping somewhere had to come over to scan his badge because you apparently cant scan the pizza box, even though it has a barcode. You have to tap through a bunch of screens to add it for some reason Which, is something they could probably fix

I live in western PA and I've never even had this discussion. I dont even remember when they first popped up here but its been a while and we still have cashiers. Heck I worse as a cashier right now and folks using self checkout saves me time and energy.

IRL, the conversation have died down in most places, AFAIK It was a little bigger when they first started showing up en masse in a bunch of places at once So, if they werent getting to you around the same time, that could have stopped discussion. Cant say for sure since I dont live there

Online, the discussion pops up more often, though Less than when they first came out, but I think there are like three topics on this board about self-checkout right now, so And theyre on Reddit a lot But everything is on Reddit a lot

Most places here still have cashiers along with self-checkout. Most people still seem to flock to the cashiers, though

Idk if ours changed, but the ones we had at Walmart sucked because you couldnt scan more than one item. You had to scan and bag it. And the weight had to be similar or match And I think they had to get someone over to help with the fruits and veggies Or alcohol. Those were the main things at the Walmarts around here

Yeah. Ive seen those at a few places. Those are different than regular self-checkout. But both that and self-checkout are old ideas. I think the first self-checkout machine was used in 1986

Though, even these days, they apparently arent super popular Idk. I have my own reasons why I avoid them (from they dont want to scan, to the specific items they buy, to having to wait for a cashier for some stuff). But it seems like they arent super popular Or, they werent. Idk if things changed in the last couple of years

Even with a full cart Im faster here since scanning is either a single movement from the cart into the bag or from the shelves into the cart if Im using the cart scanner. Thats faster than putting everything on a conveyor belt, then moving forward and putting all that in a bag again. Its a very annoying process.

If the cart scanner is that thing that lets you scan as you pick up stuff, thats faster. But thats also different from just regular self-checkout And like Ive said, Ive never seen a person (even people who are good cashiers) who go faster at self-checkout with a full cart over a regular cashier. Maybe its different where you are, but I havent seen it here, now do I think I will At least, when it comes to regular people Idk. I still think doing multiple things at once is faster than one thing at a time Cart to scanner to bag always seemed pretty slow to me, but Idk

Depends on where you live. Ive never heard of a cashier bagging stuff and baggers dont exist in most countries. They just scan and throw it aside here on some rollers, you bag stuff yourself. Youre twice as fast with self checkout here.

If youre bagging yourself, if could change things. But not enough to make self-checkout faster with a full cart of things. In that case, youre still bagging as they are scanning. Youre still getting 2 completely separate things done at once

Ok. I honestly dont believe that. Unless you just have a bad cashier. When you have a cashier (and especially if they have a bagger), youre getting multiple things done at once. Which is faster than one person doing everything. At least, when you have a lot of stuff, like a careful. If you only have a handful, then its probably not much different, unless you save a minute or something

If you have a cashier, while youre taking stuff out of the cart, they are scanning and bagging, or just scanner if they have a bagger bagging. Meaning that by the time youre done taking shit out, they may be close to finishing up scanning, and the bagging is probably close to done (or possibly done) by the time you get your receipt Thats just common sense. Instead of one person doing everything, you split the work, and it gets done faster

I just dont like it or support it, so I dont use it. I dont see it as a scam, though

I use to volunteer a lot when I was younger. And even more during my early years in the Air Force. I also remember getting a certain number of volunteer hours was needed to graduate school, and I need hours for the Air Force, as well Though, I still do like to volunteer when I can

I almost worked at a Juvenile detention center once The only reason I took the other job was money and time Had I had more money and time, I would have done the juvenile detention center.
