Do none of them have maps or do they eventually add them? One of my biggest peeves in old RPGs are the lack of maps.

The Japanese only DS version of BN1 has a map, and Im pretty sure the DS version of 5 does as well. Neither of which are in this collection.

Granted you really only need a map for the first game. The cyber world gets more straightforward in the sequels

Yeah, the anime expands on this further but most navis are just mass produced generic AIs (think like if Siri was a Navi). Navis like Megaman, Roll, Protoman etc. are custom made specifically for the user. Custom navis are not the norm
