I soft reset for certain charms (One that restores SP another that restores HP) and other stuff - at this point I'm just casting shit for free and running through bosses. I haven't had any trouble at all and I'm finishing up chapter 4s

You can steal equips with Therion? I've never found anything but usables.

You can steal weapons and armor from NPCs. Idk about battles though

Yeah the quality definitely dips when it outpaced the source material.

To me season 5 was where the most noticeable drop was.

1-3 are fantastic
4 had some issues but was still solid overall
5 is when shit started going off the rails

What the... Where am I? What happened? Head hurts...

As your vision slowly begins to return you start taking in your surroundings. Torches mounting the wall bring a dim light to the room. Chains hang from the ceiling. It looks like some kind of medieval dungeon.

"Oh, you're up."

You turn to see a girl dressed in robes. She doesn't seem to be the same girl you met at the courthouse.

"Um, who are you? Where are we?" you ask.

"My name is Little Royal. As for where we are, we're currently in the dungeons below the judicial chamber," the girl explains.

"Wait... dungeon? Judicial chamber? What are you talking about?" you ask.

"You really don't know? We're being held prisoner while we wait to be put on trial. It should be soon."

"Trial? For what? I haven't committed any crimes!" you reply.

"I don't know what you did. They threw you in here a few hours ago, but they didn't say. As for me, I've been accused of being a witch."

"A witch? What do you mean?"

"They must've hit you hard on the head if you don't know what a witch is. They're only the most vile wenches in the land! They use their powers of sorcery to harm the innocent people of the kingdom. You have to believe me when I say I'm not one of them!" she cries.

"I never said you were. And come on, magic and witches aren't real," you reply.

"They definitely are! I've seen many a witch put on trial. I never expected to be here myself though."

The door swings open. In walks a man who looks like a knight.

"Alright you filthy witch, time to go!"

He violently grabs her by the arm and drags her through the door.

"You too, whoever you are!" he says to you.

You follow the knight through the dark corridors. You can only wonder what awaits you at the end.

Judicial Chamber No. 2



The man who appears to be the judge slams his gavel.

"Let the trial of the witch, Little Royal, begin."

You have been seated on a bench in the gallery. Little Royal is locked in a cage hanging from the ceiling. How could they treat her like this?

"Inquisitor Strike Gently, are you ready?" the judge asks.

Another man dressed as a knight stands behind what appears to be the prosecutor's bench.

"Of course, Your Honor. I was born ready," the inquisitor says.

"Very well, you may present your case," the judge says.

"The accused was reported to have been using witchcraft to cast fire in the Ancient Forest. We have eye witnesses."

"I see. Well then, I will now deliver my verdict."

Wait what? Already?! He hasn't even presented any evidence. What is Royal's attorney doing?

You look to the defense bench to see.... that there's nobody there. You can't stand for this.

"The court finds the accused, Little Royal-"

"OBJECTION!"

All eyes are on you as you stand behind the defense bench. The air feels incredibly hostile.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" the judge asks.

"I recognize him. We found him unconscious in the Ancient Forest. We didn't have anywhere to put him, so we left him in the dungeon for the time being," the inquisitor says.

They left me with a supposed witch? Thanks a lot... >_>

"I'm Fedora Ceman, attorney at law."

"Um, Inquisitor Strike, what is an 'attorney?'" the judge asks.
