Well actually maybe its less to do with Goku. Super as a whole feels way less gritty than DBZ did. Feels like they definitely made Super to get the attention of a new generation as opposed for the fans from the 90s/00s.

I feel like it's trying to find a mix between the silliness of original DB and the gritty fights of Z. Whether or not it succeeds at that is something else entirely

As someone who's favorite FF games are FF5, FF6, FF7, and FF9, would 10-2 be worth a playthrough?

As far as my opinion on 10, I think it was an above average FF game but the storyline was too fucking crazy for me to get into it THAT much...

I'm playing 5 for the first time right now and the job system definitely reminds me of X-2.

The story is absolute nonsense and the voice acting is terrible, but the battle system is fun and the job system is fun to fool around with. The soundtrack is pretty alright too, despite what some peeps are saying in here. It's got a Charlie's Angels 70s funk vibe to it
