I think obstagoon is fine, but he's completely thwarted by his typing, which is simultaneously the perfect typing for a tryhard goober. Normal/dark is like 'whoo blah check me out I'm a badass wa ha ha', and yet the predictable end result is that in an actual fight he gets his ass double kicked

My #1 is dragapult, which I think is also my favorite pokemon of all time, recently dethroning xatu. I struggle to understand the survival strategy of a pokemon that fires its babies out of its head, and also the babies explode, but maybe this is why it's ghost type

I love that regieleki skips around like a little girl and looks like it has two giant-ass pigtails coming off it. I named mine goldilocks. It's pretty alright in vgc too (it was pretty busted last gen)

I rank pokemon based on design, how good they are, how much I've used them, any cool or bad memories I have of them, their role in battle, my mood when I first encountered them, and the will of the stars. After I quantify each measure and normalize them, it's a simple matter to plot each pokemon in 7-space and rank them based on their distance from the origin.
