My main issue is the sear on the outside, and using butter to cook it in. Butter burns much, much quicker than the meat. The heat required to get a sear on a steak is way above the butter threshold. But if you must, add a little bit of oil into the pan as well to help. Since I assume you cooked it in the 5-7 range on your stovetop purely in butter, it just never got hot enough for a proper sear. I could barely break even with one 20 stack by turn 12. Skaven, Kugath, Chaos Dwarves and Grom declared on me in that timeframe. I found myself hiding for my life in Pigbarter grinding out wins for leveling up my lord, but I could see it becoming a losing battle economically.

I'm bad at the game and just futz around so overall my input isn't worth much. But I'd suggest not Skarbrand since I imagine there will be a dlc for Khorne at some point that adds new units. Always down to give advice if you need some pointers. All good choices. Have the Sisters Arrows been fixed form the magic accuarcy bug? They have. That volley ability the two units of starter eagles have is now ridiculous. Can kill 60-70% of darkshards in one go, each cast. I was leaning towards him as well. I just finished a long campaign victory in 80 turns with Elspeth on VH/VH. It was a total blast. Being an Empire main, I've been waiting forever for a DLC like this. All the new riflemen, the landship, the engineers -- my late game armies were basically WW2 era armored infantry columns with rocket battery artillery that /exploded into black holes./ I've narrowed down my choices to three factions I've barely played or... doing what I really want to do, and taking Gelt in his new start position for a spin. Skarbrand seems like a lot of fun and I hear he turns into a one man doomstack in as little as 20-25 turns. However their roster seems incredibly small to me, and I do have a hard time wrapping my head around chaos factions on the campaign map. Since I rarely raze, raid, use agent powers, or teleport its hard to get all that down at once. I noticed that Imrik kept getting annihilated in five turns by the AI in his new start position surrounded by -- checks notes -- dark elves, orcs, ogres, dwarves, chaos dwarves, and vampires. I know that he gets very OP quickly, and his dragons (with the exception of his garbage starter one) wreck entire armies. Running around the thunderdome collecting pokemon sounds awesome. Sisters of Twilight is another very fun ranged campaign, not much to say since it's very defensive and isolationist. But building tall then holding back the end game crisis is always fun. Gelt is now outside of the Empire, can immediately ally with two strong allies including Cathay, can get limits upwards of 60 wizards on the map, and now has access to all the tier V rare spells from the Order factions. All of them. I use Linux, a VPN, a fork of Vivaldi centered on even more privacy and run anticheat games in a VM so they can try to access a system32 and browser history (as I watch) that does not exist. I'm not being snippy, I'm just saying that my stance on this is that it isn't worth the hassle to me. Also, fwiw, people who are genuinely affected by this and not preferentially affected (like me) are going to get their copies bricked because PSN isn't in their country. Users on reddit are reporting the whole "pick a random address and location and just make a throwaway PSN!" have been banned for trying this in the past with other games, or recently for hd2 if they didn't buy it in the grace period AH gave everyone. The store page says it is required; on launch day, maybe the day after too, it had a button to skip tying in your PSN. They also want your telemetry data and purchase history via Steam so that they can sell those target points to data farms. I got about 110h out of the game and got all the stuff I wanted, played what I wanted to. I'm pretty sure part of the point of Family Guy is that all of the main characters are terrible in their own ways. It wasn't originally. The first run of Family Guy is still surprisingly funny and has some classic gags, but it's usually well mannered and has some kind of (mostly absurdist) moral at the end. | C-zom 05/02/24 1:50:51 PM #4 | Grouchy old man is also an awful take. He did it a few times in his youth, a few final times in old age, but his hobbling old man bit was just a bit. Even if you watch interviews near his death he was very soft spoken, polite and kind.
He started his early years of comedy just by being the censorship envelope pusher, making fun of banned words or media. Then he switched to a little bit of absurdism, starting his "scenarios" he'd keep until the end. Pocket dimension all your stuff got lost in, banned words skit, etc. His 70s-80s stuff was very pro-stoner and safe but contrarian. He became politically jaded in the 90s and never, ever looked back. There's a long list of reasons for this and they're actually pretty sad/well reasoned. He had an abusive family, hated fame, and struggled with detaching from a very draconian catholic schooling system in his teens and youth. The beatings kind, not the finger wagging kind nowadays. His last string of specials eventually just became tedtalks/one sided philosophy debates we see people watching more regularly in this era, arguably veiled as moderate politics. I agree with some of his takes, disagree with most of them, even if they're colored in absurdism we should not have gladiatorial arenas for inmates. His very last tour was a glimpse into philosophical nihilism/pessimism that, luckily, we didn't see a lot more from. Very, very sad and bitter takes on literally all walks/aspects of life. Calling everyone stupid, the system broke, kids pointless, votes didn't matter. It got scary. Poor dude was broken down to oblivion by the end. Edit: as is frequent in modern culture and the amalgamation of political spectrums into 1s or 0s, he was actually very far left and progressive even for his time up until his death. Hated corruption from either party, which is why I briefly mentioned moderate coded above which is where he'd fit today just left leaning. Not surprised, but hate, that misguided fans of him use him as a conservative bugle. Once I got all the radiant + orb gear on SH plus the Blood of Lethander Mace and it was GG for literally every enemy in Act 2 while the rest of my party hoarded resources and leveled up while, essentially, watching SH solo the Act. This bill effectively reverses market specific throttling/caps, artificial broadband barriers and tiered monthly plans bundling "priority" to other shit (e.g: Verizon w/ Netflix, Comcast w/ Disney+) all actually ran a tiny bit better when purchased that way. I'll try to dig up the benchmarks from the old overclock forums. There was the infamous Netflix bitrate problem that still persists to this day depending on what ISP, app/program/browser you use to watch. That's NN stuff. Now it's back to the 2010-2015ish ISP plans. Fixed speed, fixed price, modem/router rental fee being the only hidden cost allowed, etc. Some have monthly data limits, some don't, has always been allowed.
