I'm going through the first season and it's kind of a bore, can only watch half an episode at a time. It's just McCaugnehy mumbling something that vexes Woody, rinse and repeat.

Thats how the first season was for me to, until it clicked. Like it took me about a half dozen tries just to get through the first episode. When I finally did I figured let me slog through the second one, as I continued on some momentum or something started to build and I believe by the 4th episode I was all in.

Its such a good character piece moreso than a mystery. Harrelson and McConaughey just own their respective characters and the dialogue is so good between them. I watch the entire season at least once a year now, if not multiple times.

Except the dinosaurs were barely an afterthought in the movie. The movie was a mission impossible movie with dinosaurs in the background.

I never understood why he was so hated by the public as a champion. That part of the story didnt make sense to me.

If I remember correctly, it wasnt that he cherry picked weak opponents like the above poster said, but more so that he came up in a weak era and had no real competition so it was tough to say how great he really was.

Then they ran the simulation between him and Rocky which peaked the interest in his promoters because there were no big paydays out there for him aside from a potential circus fight with Balboa because Dixon had cleaned out the heavyweight division.

Dixon wasnt really a bad guy though. In the end, he needed Rocky as much as Rocky needed him. He was able to truly be tested and Rocky was able to challenge himself one last time and empty his tank once and for all.

There's multiple footage, and testimony from other artists about him literally coming up with stuff on the fly and it being a complete verse. It's been a talent since he was a kid apparently. Lil Wayne does the same way.

I have no doubts many guys can and have come up with verses or even full songs off the top of their heads, but I do remember Rubin doing an interview and saying Jay writes absolutely none of his stuff. I just find that hard to believe. There is likely some stuff he has written.

Jay-Z doesnt write any of his rhymes (allegedly according to multiple sources including himself & legendary producer Rick Rubin) so not sure he should qualify if everything he does is off the top of his head.

As a 42yr old with a 25yr old girlfriend, I agree with whomever said a lot of the time people just wanna dictate who a man can date because Ive been getting a lot of hate from co-workers as of recently over the situation.

Not to my face, but Ive heard some of the things people say from other friends within the workplace and from her the things people have been saying to her.

One of our higher ups was meeting with her speaking about a deal and within that conversation got to asking her about us and telling her there are a lot of fish in the sea and she shouldnt necessarily stop fishing. All I could do was laugh, but thats clearly a shot at me.

There are a lot of people murmuring how creepy or weird it is and how it must be money related where either Im paying or shes a gold digger, etc.

Meanwhile were just two people who have known each other for a couple of years now (been dating 4 months). We started by just hanging out in groups and then progressed to occasionally doing some one on one hangouts, but nothing serious. Stuff like walking our dogs and just chit chatting.

People even had problems with that as there used to be little comments made. That was over a year ago though. She eventually started seeing someone and so we kinda stopped talking. Still friendly at work and texts here & there, but nothing beyond that. Then about 6 months ago she got very ill and was doing very little to help herself so I dropped her off some medicine and other little things and left it at her doorstep which she was very appreciative for.

A couple weeks after that she knew I was out somewhere and so she showed up and we hung out a little. From there it just snowballed into planning to hang out and so we have been ever since then. About 2 months into that we made it official and thats when talk around work got really going. Almost all of that talk being centered around me and how I must have a problem or this or that. I assume mostly because shes very good looking and so why would a gorgeous 25yr old want to get involved with an average 42yr old?

I do feel its jealousy and stuff because there was another woman who admitted to thinking I was attractive and she was also only in her 20s (although a tad older at 27 as opposed to 25), but she wasnt the prettiest woman around. I dont mean any disrespect to her as she was very nice (she took a promotion and moved locations) and she was always pleasant, but she was a bigger girl and she had some acne problems. People were encouraging me to take her out back when she let her feelings be known. So I often wonder why was that something people thought I should push for and now theyre so against the relationship I am in?

Eh, she probably has her phone in her hand 99% of the time looking at all her DMs and various social medias searching for the next man up anyway. Look all you want boys.

I have no doubts lol. Like I mentioned in the beginning, Im fairly certain they were regulars as they seemed to know everyone by name, but damn the sense of entitlement to ring an actual bell to summon the young lady to their table. That happened multiple times and the same woman was my server. She was doing a great job of checking in to me and her other tables without feeling intrusive. There was no need to have to ring for her.

Im the same way a lot of the time, but these people were probably in their 70s or 80s and to me, thats just not even an argument worth having. At that age theyre never going to change their views.

Shit gets crazy around this time of year. Having worked at a both UPS and Amazon in the past, during the holiday season both places hire so many extra seasonal bodies because the workload is insane and you better believe in that mix are a bunch of bad apples who steal packages.

At UPS once we busted up a ring of thieves who were working with a handful of drivers. They would put a mark on the packages to let the drivers know which ones to dump and they were selling the items online and splitting the money. All sorts of shit like that happens this time of year in that industry.
