The faster everyone gets some vaccination, the quicker shit can go back to "normal".

Prefer waiting a week or two and getting 95+% efficacy personally. The mRNA vaccines seem to be the future and just simply better.

Then if you are religious you possibly have moral objections to it as well, but that's not a concern of mine.

I just prefer what studies consistently show as being better.

Lots of states are now laying out their dates for opening up vaccinations to the general public. It might be the majority of them now with dates ranging from the end of March to the end of April.

Meanwhile Virginia has said nothing so far and is just moving to Phase 1c (other essential workers like service industries, electric workers, etc.) in just a couple of places. 1b was actually a pretty broad category of "All 65+ or 16-64 with comorbitiies" but the vaccination rate has actually slowed some in the last couple of weeks. I think Virginia should open it up to everyone no later than April 5 - 12, but even that feels too slow if vaccination rates are truly beginning to decline because of demand.

Great. I was already top of the line and couldn't get one. This will surely help.

Pretty sure this energy company is one of those ones that sends you advertisements in the mail or people in walmart try to stop you in the store to persuade you to join. Not your normal energy companies.

They offer you low introductory rates, but then afterwards your bill swings with rates. A lot of people end up paying a lot more with these companies, and I personally regard them as scams.

If that is the case, it would be wildly inaccurate to attribute their play in this to energy in general. These companies are basically a bet on no problems occurring.

I have a sinking feeling that COVID is basically here to stay and will end up being like the seasonal flu, as it continues to mutate and those strains are less effected by the vaccines we develop.

That was pretty much always basically what was expected to happen. Though we feel these vaccines will be more effective than the flu ones due to the spike protein.
