I doubt they purposely broke it to get their money back. If they didn't pay for the insurance on shipping, you might not have to give it back at full cost. Maybe you could tell them to pay to ship it back and you will refund what they paid.

They would still be out the shipping cost, but I mean, it's not your fault and they didn't pay for the insurance on the shipment. You should offer shipping insurance as an add on in the future.

Bungie fleecing another corporation for funding. Playstation basically paid to keep Destiny on Sony consoles. It's such a weird acquisition. This is basically what Bungie did to Activision. Which did not work out well for Activision.

I mean having both of these conditions makes no sense unless you're just trying to encourage teams to go for 2 because you can't win by more than 8 without getting the ball while having the lead, barring a defensive score (at which point you'd just go down instead of trying to score because you've just won)

It makes the team who has the ball first have a way to win outright but make it so no one can just win by a field goal either.

Just make the rules that if your team is up 8 points or more in OT your team automatically wins the game, and if you ever get the ball in OT while having the lead, the game is over.

Activision was going to be bought by either Meta, Amazon, or Tencent if Microsoft didn't take them. Tencent getting them would have been ridiculous. They are the market leader already.

He certainly wants it but that doesn't mean he's implying here that CoD will be gone from PS5 unless Sony accepts Game Pass. Like I said, the situation is more than just console wars and right now, MS is more focused on placating the FTC and DOJ and ensuring that the deal can even pass in the first place. Biden and Lina Khan have been on a crusade to break up big tech since they took office so MS will be treading carefully here and keeping CoD multiplatform could be one of the concessions MS makes to get the deal passed.

They have nothing to worry about from the FTC.

Even with this acquisition it only makes them the third biggest in the industry behind Sony and Tencent. It's literally nothing to worry about at the end of the day.

Spencer says it isn't a loss leader.

The end goal for Microsoft is to have gamepass available to the masses. It is why they are flooding into the PC market and into phones with gamepass. The idea is to get their gamepass on all the other consoles or just bypass them anyways via going straight to tvs and freezing them out anyways.

It's still fairly ambiguous what Xbox's plan is since you can also interpret that as Xbox keeping CoD: Warzone on Playstation and while keeping mainline CoD exclusive on Xbox.

But like I stated earlier, the acquisition is way more than about "beating Sony". Gaining access to King, a major mobile company, and a large amount of exclusive content relative to Amazon, Google, etc is the bigger reason why MS went through with acquisition imo.

The main difference between the Zenimax and Activision Blizzard scenarios is that CoD is a way bigger deal than TES. We know this, MS knows this and the FTC and DOJ sure as hell know this. MS assuring that CoD will stay multiplat will placate the FTC (allowing the deal to go through in the first place) and upholding it will generate goodwill and reassurance for future acquisitions. The last thing MS wants is for the FTC to go after them like they are with Facebook right now.

So I can see MS going either way on this depending on how they think the FTC will react and it's not even a certainty the acquisition can go through in the first place. The markets are pricing around a 30% chance that the FTC or DOJ will block it.

He is clearly stating that he wants Gamepass on PS5 where they can have Call Of Duty. It has always been the intent of Microsoft to get them to allow gamepass onto their consoles.

Epic Games and Take Two are unbuyable because they print money.

CD Projekt Red probably tanked their value immensely with Cyberpunk.

Sega is part of Sammy which makes them hard to get.

Still hoping Microsoft gets Konami at some point but their gacha business just prints money.

That's news to me.

It's worth noting that you were not supposed to file an amended tax return for the extra unemployment return, and that red did so anyways against IRS recommendations.

I like the mech fight. I like revolution more than reloaded, but both are decent. The train station and merv stuff were the weakest parts of both movies, tho God damn was persephone fine.

The one problem with the mech fight is that the end makes it seem pointless when it goes from a fight to a haha they could have just won whenever.

The reloaded cgi 100 smith's fight is pretty bad and does not hold up. Likewise the part where Smith clotheslines neo in revolution looks very poorly cut and weird.

The new movie wasn't that great. I get it's set up, but the magic seems kind of lost.

One of the things it took me getting a little older to understand is that 1. As smart as we maybe are, we aren't probably as smart as we think we are. 2. Because people don't do things the way we think about things doesn't make them dumb.

I can assure you there are Republicans who think you are stupid for your political beliefs that actually are way smarter than you. I can assure you there are religious people who believe in a God you think are fake that are way smarter than you. I can assure you there are antivax people out there that are way smarter than you.

The thing about intelligence is that your minds work different and just because you may specifically make a smarter decision and them a dumber decision at a time doesn't make you a smarter person or them a dumber person. Or as moogle pointed out above mean they came to what you deem as a dumber decision by the means you attribute to them.

Let's say you are actually slightly above average in intelligence. Then that means like 5 billion people in the world are less intelligent than you or so. And, then, depending on your personality, you may even contribute how many as smart or smarter than you are being less intelligent than you as well. Hey why not. Thus, there is a lot of people to deem dumb.

And, even then a smart person doesn't have to make every right decision also. Which of course brings you back to just deeming they are all dumb anyways.

The point is. You seem to think intelligence is measured by making every decision you personally think is smart and them being dumb if they didn't make it. It's a poor measure of intelligence tbqh.

I went to Walmart and got mine. Could have basically picked my time and date as I wanted. Was very easy and convenient.

There is potholes, but I enjoyed it. Probably moreso to see my past movies on screen again. Idk how a younger generation would feel though. Some of the movie seemed pointless, but that's okay. Wasn't the infinity war/endgame level movie everyone hyped it to be though.

Though I never thought it sucked, I just didn't get the mass appeal based off the first couple of episodes. I thought Arcane was going to be another of those ridiculously popular shows that other people love that get overhyped and end up being just okay which makes them extremely overrated for me (*cough* One Piece), but no... by the third episode I totally got it. Now I'm really eager to rewatch the opening with a different mindset to see if there was anything I slept on if only I had the spare time...

I just was kinda bored and didn't see the point until that episode. But, yeah. Episode 3 has you. Reminds me of Spartacus. If you didn't like Spartacus, you probably quit in the first 2 episodes. If you made it to the 3rd... you were a fan.
