The article doesn't do great on it, but the implication is that there wouldn't be just one group, but multiple in different factors, instead of the gender binary. Still, it seems the only place such a thing will really work is at the young levels. The group they cite at the end of the article is a group of 8-10 year olds and swimming. The banker sets the point total to beat with their throw, and each of the three players after that attempts to get a higher point total than the banker, each player having to place a bet. For each round, you have three throw attempts, and you get points if you have two matching dice, and your point is the value of your third die. So if you roll a 2-2-3, your points are 3. If you roll a 1-1-5, your points are 5. Once you get a valid roll for points you cannot roll anymore. There are also special rolls. For example, all three dice the same is I think 3 times the betting amount. 1-2-3 is a bad roll that loses you twice the amount you bet. --- CyricZ He/him |
