A porterhouse is just a very big T-bone. It's half new York strip and half (ok not really half) tenderloin. The meat comes from between the rib and the tenderloin.

Ribeye comes from between the rib and the shoulder and has more marbled fat content.

Tomahawk is to Ribeye as Porterhouse is to T-Bone.

So the porterhouse is the bigger 2 in 1 steak with both a New York strip/sirloin and a filet (my terminology on these two could be wrong here).

Am I also kind of correct in saying that the tomahawk is also a bigger 2 in 1 type of steak that has ribeye as a part of it? So what I really want to look for is a tomahawk for my next time since I liked the flavor of the ribeye so much but wanted something a bit more overall?

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I got a ribeye that night at the steak house and it was wonderfully delicious. Looks like thats the go to Ill stick with, maybe try a porterhouse one day if Im feeling more hungry and want to try something different.

I agree. I've always felt that EDM has more variety and potential for completely new sounds and elements that new minds can bring. (Rezz, Sudden Death, Excision, Clozee)

Huge fan of all those artists you mentioned. While I do still like house (which is probably the most popular and mainstream genre of EDM right now), I much prefer bass heavy EDM more than anything else. Trap and dubstep are so much more interesting to listen to and more my speed.

So why choose something like a ribeye or a sirloin over a porterhouse at a steak restaurant? The porterhouse has more ounces in the menu so I assume you get more meat overall. Is the taste different?

If Im more hungry itd be better to get the porterhouse since I get more ounces, but if I want more flavor I get a ribeye or sirloin or filet or whatever?

Im new to all this steak terminology stuff, before I would just order a steak off the menu and just ask for it medium and not look at anything else, but I recently went to a steak house for my birthday and now my eyes are opening to all the options.

Cause yeah I'm not interested in the majority of the games on it. I only bought it for a few specific games that can no longer be purchased and played from the makers themselves

I personally wouldnt count those games, as you arent actually interested in playing them. I think I have one of those too, but even not counting that my backlog is still insanely high, and it only grows bigger and bigger every year.

Completely false. The live album Woman Worldwide by Justice is much MUCH better than their original studio recordings. Pretty much every live version of their songs is completely reworked and better sounding in every way.

^^Tycho and Aphex Twin are super dope. Aphex Twins live show is one of the craziest experiences Ive ever had in my life, he is just on another level of insanity. One of the OGs and an icon for sure.

Yup you get it. There are such a ridiculous amount of subgenres and so much variety in those genres with different artists and songs. I hate people who generalize EDM with just like house or dubstep or techno. Sure those are the most well known genres and I enjoy them but stuff like liquid DnB, future bass, and my personal favorite trap EDM, are what really stand out to me among many MANY others. Endless variety, its so wonderful

I love the dark industrial electronic sound of Yeezus. Reminds me of Gesaffelstein, one of my favorite EDM artists, hes big on the whole industrial techno/trap vibe. Aleph is a great album by him. He actually worked on the production of a few songs from Yeezus I think.

Cashmere Cat is my absolute favorite DJ but he rarely makes music anymore and never tours. He pretty much only produces now and that's so sad because Princess Catgirl is a 10/10 album in my mind.

Oh yeah Im a fan of Cashmere Cat, hes got a pretty impressive set of production credits for some big artists like Kanye/The Weeknd/Ariana Grande to name just a few.

He was supposed to play at Coachella 2020 and I remember diving into his stuff while doing research on the lineup, and I remember enjoying Princess Catgirl a lot. Its a shame that year got canceled because of COVID and he never came back on any later Coachella lineups, so I never got another chance to see him yet.

I never got into Lights solo material on her own, but I do know her as a well known featured vocalist on many songs from many of my favorite EDM artists, like Seven Lions/Illenium/Deadmau5 etc just to name a few from the top of my head.

EDM or just electronic in general is the best genre of music and its not even close really. So much more variety than band guitar stuff.

I pretty much never interact with any of the music threads on CE because its always a bunch of old people jerking off to bands and guitar music, which all sound the same to me. No one ever likes EDM.

I do like hip-hop/rap though and can enjoy discourse on that here every now and then, but its mostly all band guitar stuff here, like 99% of all the music discussion tbh

Theres NO way that song only came out in 2015 I feel like Ive been hearing that song since like the early 2000s. Thats a major Mandela effect moment for me.

Phenomenal movie, Im just not a fan of the ending, specifically after Cooper wakes up in the future. Its not a very satisfying conclusion and I feel that they left too many threads open without really resolving the main conflict of the story too well.

Other than that, everything else before that is absolutely fantastic and near perfect. I even like the extra dimensional Cooper is the ghost stuff that most people dont like.

Rise of Skywalker is much MUCH better, just for the fact its petty as hell and reverses most of the shit decisions in The Last Jedi. And its just a more entertaining movie in general.

The internet hive mind opinion that Rise is the worst movie of all time is so ridiculously wrong lol, its just a meme at this point

Having been through Italy, I understand the pizza hype, but I would still place NJ pizza in the same tier as pizza from any province of Italy.

The biggest one that I remember I went to was for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Line went out the door and surged all the way around the block. Fun times.

Last one I went to was probably Spider-Man 2 for PS5, but that was wasnt really a midnight release since it was like at 8 pm the night before it came out. Still, I was surprised to see a good amount of people there since I thought these events were dead and everything is mostly online now. Couple of people were dressed up in Spidey costumes, it was cool.

Saw it today, wasn't as good as Fury Road but considering how high that bar is it's unexpected, and it's wisely not trying to be Fury Road either. Like how they built the world more by going further into the greater interactions of the wasteland's outposts like Gastown and the Bullet Farm, and I really love the fate of Dementus. Couldn't happen to a more pleasant guy.

Just saw it today and pretty much agree with this post.

I will say I found it kind of strange that Anya Taylor-Joy isnt in the movie that much. Shes only in it for like an hour or less of the runtime. Wasnt the biggest fan of that, but not a huge deal. Still a great movie, just definitely not as good as Fury Road.

Dawn is a 10/10 movie for me, along with movies like Inception, Dune Part Two, Everything Everywhere All at Once, Godzilla Minus One, The Dark Knight, just to name a few 10s of mine.

Its just crazy to me that someone would rate Dawn a 6 and that other user who said Dawn is the worst of the trilogy, but to each their own I guess.

This is the correct answer. Nothing else in this topic comes close to the double disaster Dexter had. They had another chance to fix it and doubled down on ending the series in an even worse manner.

I could not disagree more with the general consensus here. I personally loved it, its my second favorite in the series after the last one, Afterlife.

Felt like the first movie in the series to actually try expanding the lore and do some great worldbuilding. Returning cast was great, huge fan of Paul Rudd and hes even more likable in this one. I also enjoyed the new characters like the ghost girl, props to them for trying something different, I think it landed well.

Obviously its not some super deep artistically genius masterpiece but its a damn fun movie, dont know what else people expected

I thought it was better than Rise personally, but I really enjoyed this movie. Seems like it could be the start of something that could bring up the quality like Dawn and War did after Rise. Definitely felt like they were really setting something up.

Yeah as much as I love Rise and think its a phenomenal movie, rewatching it makes it feel like its all just setup to get to the post apocalyptic setting that the rest of the series focuses on.

So I agree that Kingdom is better than Rise, but probably not as good as Dawn or War. Id have to rewatch Kingdom down the line for a better stance, but on a first watch I think Dawn and War are better films.

Yeah I do remember reading about that. His track record so far is The Maze Runner trilogy, which makes me feel very ehhh on how hell do with both this new Apes movie and now Zelda.

Still its only been 3 movies all from one franchise (a YA novel series too so you can only do so much with those), so well see how he does with these other more beloved franchises.

Dawn and War are some of the best movies to come out the last decade, Rise is still great too but just not on the same level as Dawn and War.

This new one has a new director behind it, so I'm lowering my expectations as I don't think it will be as good as the last two, but I'll still give it a chance. Cautiously optimistic for sure, as I love the visual style of the reboot series a lot.

I really wanted to love Galaxy, and parts of it I do (especially the soundtrack). But if I'm being perfectly honest, I played Galaxy twice all the way through and Odyssey only once, and Odyssey was still infinitely more memorable.

Im actually very surprised of this topic as usually Galaxy gets a big circlejerk on this board. I think its the most overrated Mario game, its the only 3D Mario that I didnt finish because I got so bored with it around 75% of the way through.

Was meaning to go back and finish it but its been like 3-4 years now since I last played, so not anytime soon.

Almost a tie between 3 and 4. Dont really have the time to play both, I wanna play a good chunk of a playthrough before I start the show, but I dont wanna take too long to watch it.

Leaning towards 4 since I finished 3 and its DLC waaay back when they first came out, but never played more than 10-15 hours of 4 overall.

I always dreamed that Half Life 3 and Portal 3 would be this large crossover game, since they are both in the same universe. Like its the same grand story that served as a finale to both series, with each game being played in the viewpoint of either Chell or Gordon.

Dont think well ever get either of those games regardless of the concept though

You can see some noticeable but not too crazy changes to her facial features in season 3, but Im kinda anxious to how she will look in season 4 after these even bigger changes she recently had like in this photo.

Its about to be almost exactly 2 years since I last played OSRS too, keep thinking I should get back into it every now and then but I never end up doing it. Is this a sign I should finally do it?

I was mostly working on getting a quest cape, and did almost every single quest except for one last Master quest and all the Grandmasters, but I just could not beat the final boss of that last Master quest (Sins of the Father) after 15+ tries. Thats what made me quit the game completely lol

Exact same feeling here, I saw all 3 seasons for the first time ever back this January. Cant believe I slept on it for so long, such an incredible show that I wish I knew was this good before so Id have checked it out sooner.

Now just waiting for season 4, which is only a few months away, so its the best time to get into it honestly.

Theres also the spin off show Gen V, which unfortunately I didnt care for too much. Its not anywhere near as good as The Boys honestly. Sad to hear about Chance Perdomos death though, I did think his character was good in the show.
