This isnt a new allegation and Im confused by everyone treating it like it is.

Thats pretty commonly the case though.

Im not gonna remember a damn thing about the post merge cast from 44 this time next year.

Very good seasons with a few minor flaws:

Largely solid seasons, but with some major flaws that prevent them from being better:

Has some distinctly negative aspects, but has enough fun and enjoyable content to not hate outright:

I mostly agree with this except have Africa and Australia way higher because of the cultural phenomenon they were.

I also thjnk Earl singlehandedly moves Fiji to the tier its in.

Cook Islands is weird because I think Yuls a great winner but that win is so tainted by his completely broken idol. And it was well cast but lots of that cast count Cook Islands as their worst season.

45 could've been number 1, but I think the editors really did Reba dirty, given that they were going to ultimately end up dominating the season and producing the final two. Maybe Belo and Lulu were that innately fascinating, but it still stands out when I, someone who likes the season and the cast, still find myself rankings 5/6 of Reba in the bottom half overall.

It was truly wild editing. Even in the finale episode ALL the focus is on the belo 2, as if winking to the audience to say "whichever of these two wins fire has clearly earned the win" and when we know damn well both were 0 vote goats.

Its *wild* that the top 2 were on top most of the game, were in a literal showmance and somehow wound up THAT level of dull on screen. Because you gotta figure if either of them gave production anything to work with we woulda seen it in these 90 minute eps.

Agree with Visos rankings but Id slot Sabiyah ahead of Dee.

Looking back the highlights of the season reallh were the lulu struggles early, Jake and Emily post merge and...thats kinda it.

Theres a reason Jake was the main character of the show post Emily boot.

Blah Dee.

Vecepia tier of blandness winner.

Julie I GUESS has a winners edit in that everyone keeps saying "shes going to win if we dont get her" and then she makes a move to not die.

But sadly, I think all thats gonna do is make Jake idol her out.

Best Reba was literally Sifu

Hes got that idol so unless he really fucks up hes getting to firemaking at least.

Finished watching the shows

-disappointed in Amazing Race winners (was rooting for either of the other 2 teams) but fair enough, they earned it
-would've liked to have seen Drew attempt to face the jury & probably get shredded by them, so got robbed of that possibility

Though since Emily went out I was really reduced to just rooting for Austin so yeah, bracing myself for another disappointing outcome e.g. Jake idol knows him out in 5th... but surely the winner is either him or Dee right? and I'm still not feeling a Dee win? and surely not any of the other three either, right? I've been so wrong before though so who knows.

What is funny is each final tribal result of the new era, the past four seasons, ended in 7-1-0 votes. Looking forward to seeing if that trend continues, lol.

Im hoping when Jake said "I got 7 votes - and no more" it was foreshadowing a 7 vote win and not a 0 vote goat

I really hate Dee/Austin/Katurah

Jake absolutely carried this episode and has been top 2 characterwise all year alongside Emily.

Really hope he wins, Dee win would remind why i havent watched this show in like 11 seasons. Such a boring player with a boring persona.

It really was a great episode. I was honestly expecting this to be the cooldown episode going into the final stretch with something like a routine Jake boot but even though it sucks to lose Emily now, and like this, I'm glad I was wrong about the episode quality.

At this point I really want a Jake win.

Bruce is so bad, can't believe he lasted this long and blew it so hard. Emily et al played him really well, but this is literally the situation you've been waiting to use your idol.

Like I said before though, post merge has and will continue to be pretty boring and straight forward. The Kellie blindside was super strong but even that didn't change the game in the slightest. Reba 4 keep steamrolling and no one cares.

This is proof really that personalities make the season. I know its a straight pagonging with an emily twist but ive found it pretty enjoyable anyway

I think this hinges on how well Ryu can deal with Cao and Tron given Glory and Lucas are much better support. Bomberman has firepower but no healing and is kind of brittle

bomberman also doesnt have a stipulation keeping him from hurting his allies which makes it extremely hard for him to help without hindering

but bombermans bombs might also just light the entire field on fire in which case everyone but tron burns to death

I agree with this and think Ryu simply outlcasses Cao Cao if this becomes about short distance fighting
