'Bow Down, You Ignorant Fools!' is a remix of her theme in touhou 8 which had been featured in a VGMC before. I thought you would have heard of that (but it was 10+ contests ago so maybe not). I'm not really deep into Touhou music to recognize any particular track. It's probable that I heard the original, but just don't recall since Touhou music tends to just register as "Touhou music" in my mind. I was pretty big into MUGEN for a few years and had several Touhou stages, but I doubt I'd recognize any of their tracks even after hearing them dozens of times. I think my first VGMC was probably 12, if that matters. Murphiroth posted... I'm surprised you like Nekrogoblikon's Chop Suey more than the original, that's a classic! I did say that was probably going to be a controversial take! But yeah, I quite aggressively disliked the SOAD version... still a chance I could come around on it after a few more listens though. Raka_Putra posted... Yeah, I like Love Yourself but it definitely can kinda blend into the background lol. But sometimes I'm in the mood for that! Yeah, I can see that happening. Yeah the song ends sort of abruptly because every song on the album leads into the next, even the last song looping around to the first. ...in retrospect, I should have thought about checking the next song to see if it was that sort of thing. I'll try checking it on Spotify later this evening, see how letting the two flow together changes my opinion. Penance Sabretooth Spiral Xorn Rules say to save someone if they should be in and I can make a vaguely convincing argument that the epitome of 90s edge is iconic enough (albeit in a bad way) that he should be in. <./< I'm a bit surprised Robbie is listed as Penance instead of Speedball, but I prefer him as Penance so I'm not complaining.
