I thought you would have heard of that (but it was 10+ contests ago so maybe not). I'm not really deep into Touhou music to recognize any particular track. It's probable that I heard the original, but just don't recall since Touhou music tends to just register as "Touhou music" in my mind. I was pretty big into MUGEN for a few years and had several Touhou stages, but I doubt I'd recognize any of their tracks even after hearing them dozens of times. I think my first VGMC was probably 12, if that matters. Murphiroth posted... I'm surprised you like Nekrogoblikon's Chop Suey more than the original, that's a classic! I did say that was probably going to be a controversial take! But yeah, I quite aggressively disliked the SOAD version... still a chance I could come around on it after a few more listens though. It was something like people playing Love Yourself at a wedding or putting it on a playlist for a motivational seminar without REALLY listening to the lyrics. Yeah, I can see that happening.
