Well without write a whole novel here long story short:
When I was dealing with crippling social anxiety and my self-esteem was plummeting to all time low, there was a couple of girls I was hoping I could man up and talk to. Well in good conscious I couldn't ask God to specifically date a girl I did ask for strength and an opportunity to talk to girls more. Well one of the two girls I liked I started coincidentally suddenly seeing a lot more, danced with her at prom for all of 15 second, and somehow she ending up in the same dorm building as me freshman year of college. She was really sweet, became one of my closer friends, and I ended up liking her more and more but due to a lack of confidence and not feeling like I had much to offer her and due to my lack of charm, social, and flirting skills in general, it basically went like this

lmfao but nope, she one of the few girls I've gotten to know. She is as strong willed, determined, and hard working as anyone I know and has overcame a lot in life. She very selective/picky about who she dates and gets intimate with but currently she's with a guy who's a marine, and despite my jealousy and knowing nothing else about him, call it another gut feeling I think he's the right guy for her.

By the by don't tell people they'll find someone life doesn't work like that. No aspect of life ever guarantees success. It's like saying if you work hard you'll get rich or if you diet and exercise you'll live a long healthy life, sure there's things we can do to increase our chances of success but quite frankly life doesn't work out for everyone. Most relationships don't work out and not everyone is going to pass on their genes.
There's always a clock too, the older you get the fewer opportunities there will be. Now I'm not advocating giving up just like I wouldn't advocate someone who is trying to lose weight to stop eating healthy but it's a flat out lie to say it'll work out for you.

I mean Lex Luthor beats Superman by unleashing Doomsday. That's not really Lex winning. Doomsday won. Lex now has a bigger problem on his hands.

His taking over the world thing was also extremely temporary.

He took over the World teaming with Infinite (mostly to get rid of Sonic) but I mean his army and resources allowed him to conquer in 6 months and the resistance doesn't do very well without Sonic. Infinite and Eggman's alliance is shaky at best but Infinite doesn't actually betray Eggman and Eggman ends up being the primary threat in Forces so I wouldn't compare that to some of his past attempts with Chaos, Metal Sonic, Dark Gaia, etc

Ehhh incompetent isn't the right word. Eggman has definitely been threatening before and Sonic is pretty OP.

He has had a history of trying to use monsters/God creatures that betrayed him but beyond that nothing really stands out as incompetent. He did take over the World in Forces and until two Sonics and the created Character showed up he was winning.

Fire Emblem has a lot of OP characters, for me it was Hector and Athos in FE7, literally damn near everyone in FE8, and Ike/Nephenee/Stefan/Haar/Caneghis in FE9/10

Super/Hyper Sonic is usually a power trip except for Sonic Generations (great game but damn did Super Sonic suck in it)

SSJ4 Gogeta in the Tenkaichi Budokai games. Stupidly OP but fun.

Yeah, it requires a lot of work and doesn't yield results if you only do so much. I actually did a good job working out when I was in college for a while but it didn't really garner any attention from girls so now I've gotten lazy and work out just enough to stay moderately toned.

I want to do more but just don't have the motivation or feel like spending the time when I don't have any girls to talk to. It gets even harder as you get closer to 30 and most girls around your age are starting to get married and/or have kids.

I mean I spent 3 years in college dorms and tried to hook up with various women with varying attractiveness, but mostly failed horribly especially with this girl I had a massive crush on in High School that really fucking bites.

And then there was a few other girls who rejected me post-college most of them I don't remember their names. But moral of the story is at some point you have to realize yeah you're just not good at that whole flirting/romance thing.
