Wasn't the first one (only attractive person) essentially a Twilight Zone episode? Basically, beauty standards were so skewed that what we see as beauty was actually seen as ugly and repulsive in that world, and the surgery that the main character tried to get to "beautify" themselves failed when they came out looking like a regular, attractive by our standards person.

Maybe its just the parent in me, but if 4 elementary aged kids that I dont know come up to me and ask if weed is illegal, Im probably telling them Yes as well. Because at their age, it is.

if a group of kids found a 6-pack of beer and asked you if it was illegal, would you say "Yes" for thes same reason? or would you tell them "this is for adults"?

i like live music and CDs are a better format for official releases of complete shows than vinyl, so i still buy and listen to those.

i still buy physical copies of movies i enjoy, and sometimes the bluray isn't available, like with Kurosawa's Red Beard. the last DVD i played was probably Memento.

i mean, you're just describing generic 'high fantasy' -- all of those tropes literally define the genre. this is akin to complaining that "sci-fi" is focused on science and technology within the realm of fiction.
