as someone that's started XIV characters a million times in Ul'dah, I always felt the lack of Thancred is weird (I have at least recently done 1 Gridanian & 1 Limsan character this year)

also note in case you aren't aware Adam is always with his tiger Cringer who also transforms into Battlecat, so every time in these situations both Adam & Cringer disappear with He-Man & Battlecat taking their place

anyways nearing the end ofc there's not much to say since it's just an episodic kids show, but as someone who never actually watched He-Man I'm really impressed with how much of a positive male figure he is. like sure that shouldn't be a surprise with a kids show but I've just only known him as this big beefcake dude essentially named MAN MAN, so actually getting to know the character in 2023 is impressive

I definitely am familiar with FF8 being ranked in the the bottom tier of final fantasies here although i really think of it back in like 2000s era, before the modern era of (single-player) final fantasy that gets more shit or indifference
