Regardless of how much or little shopping you do for Christmas, when do you usually start it? Do you do it throughout the year while keeping an eye out for sales or wait till the very end and you're stuck scrambling through delayed online orders or filled parking lots of angry shoppers.

Personally I tend to start around end of November/start of December and try to have whatever gifts I'm giving by two weeks from Christmas. I try to avoid going to the mall like a plague within a week or Christmas but only do so to pick up some cookies that I give out every year for work.

So what's your usual approach when shopping for gifts?

Comments are appreciated,

Thank you

That movie was dead to me the moment they decided to try and adapt the original anime/manga and not Stand Alone Complex.

Wouldn't the SAC series be too big to squeeze into a movie setting. Granted I guess they could ignore the side stories and focus only either on the Laughing Man or Individual Eleven incidents.

Usually that is the case but there are situations where the 0% interest unless you pay the minimum doesn't apply. But because of that, regular purchases get charged an interest fee, a very small percentage, everyday until I pay it off. It wasn't that bad and once I understood that, I simply stop using that credit card till I paid off the balance transfer.

Tough to say. If I was born into such world it would feel normal to me thus nothing about it would feel special. If I was thrust into such a world and the setting I'd imagine it might be interesting at first until reality sets in.

That being said, I would find it interesting to go from our world into the Star Trek universe though I'd be stump if I'll be able to be of any use. I can't help but think entering the Federation Academy would be beyond my capability. For something more down to Earth, I would choose the Star Gate universe but of course I wouldn't be privy to anything going on with the SGC.

I think another question might be what motivation could parents give to get their children to care about their grades/future.

Depending on the policies in place and whatnot, to some teachers it is just a job and they won't care what their students end up as. Maybe it was because I took AP and Honor classes so my teachers enjoyed teaching our classes more cause they knew we chose to be there to learn. It's weird because I'm told one of my AP teachers almost treated her non-AP students like trash.

Of course given the type of students in the non-AP/Honor classes, I don't exactly blame her. I took non-AP Economics mostly because I didn't need the AP version at that point and bloody hell it was like pulling teeth trying to get some of my fellow classmates to participate in group projects.

Is there any particular reason why you can't do your usual activities in the morning before work instead of the previous afternoon after work?

It helps if your friends share a similar schedule with you. Myself and majority of my friends are the 8am-5pm type with some variants (I'm 6am-4pm) while a few friends own their own business so their hours varies and another friend has a rotating schedule every two weeks.

How likely and how often we get together or even play games together online various depending on everyone's schedule of course. One friend use to work Friday through Sunday 9pm-9am so we almost never seen him on weekends. Now he works Monday through Friday 2pm-10pm so we're able to play games with him more often but not till he's home around 11pm. Late as it is, I don't tend to go to sleep till 1am so we're still able to squeeze in some co-op.

Whether or not their actions when they resorted to physical force influenced me in becoming the person I am today, I truly don't know. But I do not resent my parents for what they did whenever I was out-of-line or did something stupid.

Both of them worked their arse off to so that my sister and I would have the opportunities we did throughout our childhood. I know they loved us even if it was sometime on the receiving end of a broom, metal coat hanger, back of the hand, etc.

My brother-in-law explained to me in that it's meant to help students think and not just memorize how to solve problems which I think is a good thing. Having gone up to Calculus AB in high school in the old format, I can agree with him as most stuff was just me memorizing how to solve a problem or memorizing a similar problem to solve the current one I have and not necessarily thinking of how to solve it. That being said, I do think it might be a little excessive for anything but colleges, Master programs, etc.

I recently bought the game for less than $2 due to both a sale and some Google Play credit. Having never played the WotL version I figure I'll start fresh, enjoy the cutscenes, and try out the two new classes.

However the controls just feels weird. It wouldn't be so bad if there were some digital D-Pad and buttons but between the lack of directional buttons and constantly having to touch twice to confirm commands it feels really slow and clunky. As someone who love to grind in this game and max out everyone's jobs, levels, faith, and brave I'm not sure how long I can tolerate this.

To anyone who played this on Android, what are your opinions of it?

Comments are appreciated,

Thank you
