They brought Vince Staples, Kilo Kish and a couple others with them. In addition to their songs, they fill in other parts (Staples did rapping in Clint Eastwood, Kish did 19-2000).

Honestly Superman's probably like a 9. Unless you have kryptonite he pretty much wins in 99/100 cases.

However, really strong magic users I think could potentially do him in, ala Dr. Strange or Voldemort. But that would require a very specific defense to even have a chance

Did you listen to the regular album or the deluxe edition? If just the regular, I would really recommend listening to a couple tracks from the deluxe. The Apprentice and Ticker Tape are both excellent, and Out of Body is easily one of the best songs from the album as a whole.

The issue with aiming for such a retro vibe is that the album feels very restricted in it’s use of different sounds, and while this definitely creates a good sense of cohesion, the album seems to lack range. This is especially true in the latter half where even higher energy songs like “Soothe My Soul” do little to differentiate themselves from what surrounds them.

While I get this perspective (and it seems to be the overall popular opinion on the album) I think it really works for me.

You mentioned Violator, which is a good comparison; Violator has the better hits and songs that standout from each other. However, I feel like Delta Machine feels more together as an album. It's best experienced as one full experience, and when doing so, I feel like I get more out of it than I do from Violator

I mean, even still, how much time investment is it really for anyone besides MI? Ideally all that's needed is a post every 24 hours or so, unless people take it super seriously and try to organize some entire fucking web of backroom deals, which takes the fun out of it imo

Jack is as seen in the first four seasons of Samurai Jack, pre-timeskip, but dressed in his samurai armor. He comes equipped with his katana, a bow and arrow, and combat knives. He does not have access to his futuristic weaponry.

Abilities

THE SWORD! (Passive) - Jack can not have his sword copied or removed from his writeup by any means.

The Samurai... (Passive) - Jack is both favored by the gods and balanced. When abilities are used on Jack, he may choose the alignment most favorable to him in response (either Heroic or Neutral).

Let us prepare for war! (Results/Customization) - This Samurai is a real JACK of all trades! As such, after a successful battle, Jack may copy one weapon or piece of armor from any enemy rostered during the battle, excluding vehicles, maxing out at three weapons/armors. He has full knowledge on how to use each piece of equipment. Each week, he may bring one of his weapons or armors to battle. However, upon losing a battle, he will lose whichever he brought with him.

Upgrades

Character Upgrade:
Samurai Jack will be as seen in all five seasons of Samurai Jack. In addition to his normal weaponry, he will come to battle on his motorcycle, equipped with his laser pistol, tuning knife and mini-gun.

New Ability:
Tremendous Horse Cut Technique (Start of Battle) - Once every three weeks, Jack may perform his infamous technique on a pre-selected enemy. Destroy all customizations available for the target. If they don't have customizations, destroy all but 1 weapon (chosen randomly) in their writeup.

Terrain

Dome of Doom - A savage arena where combatants of all sorts are pitted against each other in savage gladiatorial combat. The arena's stands are packed full with an audience awaiting bloodshed, though none of the Dome of Doom Champions are present.

So I left out the AKU! ability (mostly because I wasn't exactly sure what it was trying to say. Likewise, I re-worded "The Samurai..." into what I think you were saying; correct me if I'm wrong.

The BIG change was Let Us Prepare For War. Thought that might be really cool as a MegaMan-type ability (since he has the tendency to lose weapons as often as he gains them). If you're not digging it, feel free to let me know.

Also curious what the consensus on 5/week v. 6/week is.
