RE5 showed a pretty jarring shift away from horror (at least RE4 did it with the atmosphere, though still moving away from the old gameplay style) and RE6 was even further away. People wouldn't be judging it against the whole series.

I can accept actiony RE6. I even kinda liked RE5. But RE6 was an incredibly mediocre shooter and action game.

Even in the Japanese front Vanquish and Binary Domain are significantly better shooters. RE6 was a bloated mess. If it wasn't tied to a big franchise it wouldn't have made any impact at all.

Binary domains good although it feels like gears of war. Vanquish is ok.

Yeah, against lone targets its ok. In re4/5 you can send crowds flying. In re6 mercenaries it does little to mobs.

The shotguns. The spread and knock back have been nerfed very hard. The firing rate and reload is pretty bad as well.

Okay so you hate it, and care enough to make a topic replying to everyone in it, but you actually don't care at all.
While at the same time you've made no actual points for why it bad or a problem or worth hating.

Like I said, it takes them like 5 minutes and costs nothing to add that to the game, something some people might get some fun out of and be able to do some cool things with.
New modes require a team, a development cycle, testing, and money. It's not like they're making some cutting room floor decision of "we either give them a new game mode, or add some rewards like god mode and such" and they're all choosing the latter. They do it because it costs practically nothing and adds an extra layer to the game for those who want it or can find some fun out of it. Then you're making it an entirely different topic and suggesting DLC, lol what? Do you think games giving basic rewards like god mode, infinite ammo, new skins, etc. Is coming at the cost of removing other note substantial content?

This is as absurd as those people I've seen argue that trophies/achievements are bad. It's something that's not taking any any actual notable game development or features, it's not something anyone is making you do, it's just something that's there for the people who care or get something out of it and it costs virtually nothing and takes no time to implement.

I don't think you understand how have development works or you're just trolling and I don't know which.

Easy mode generally isn't the same as God Mode or whatever. Easy mode usually still follows the rules of the game. It's just easier. You still progress the same way no matter the difficulty.

You progress the same in RE4 regardless if easiest difficulty or Infinite Rocket Launcher, for example.

It takes them 5 minutes to tack on things like god mode, infinite ammo, etc. unlocks. It takes a team, time, and money to develop new game modes, maps, challenges, stories, etc.

Literally mad that they're just throwing in something extra for you to have fun with because they won't make you a magic game that never ends.

Not mad. Make more modes. Theyll just charge as dlc nowadays so theres no problem.
