60 hours a week for several years straight is absolute fucking garbage and I really doubt most of you have actually worked that many hours for extended periods of time.

I've done 55-60 hours a week way back in december 2020 (also known as peak Covid) and it was absolutely miserable. People were just sleeping in the parking lot. The only reason people were told to go home after 12 hours is that the system just wouldn't let you. The money was excellent from all the overtime, and absolutely would do it for 50k a month if there was no other option. However 5k a month doing nothing is a lot unless you have a large family to take care of. The average CEmen could get by with 3k a month.

It's weird. It's the first thing I thought off in this topic and I've never seen an episode of the show.

The one genre I'm completely burnt out on are Roguelike Deckbuilders. I like how it's an official tag on Steam now.

Well yeah, but it's far down on the list of problems that GameFAQs is facing right now.

There's nothing Fandom can do to "save GameFAQs". It has always been a JRPG and Nintendo site. JRPGs have been in massive decline since 2007 and Nintendo has done of things that aren't really popular with GameFAQs boomers. Walkthroughs and FAQs have wikis and youtube videos that are often superior to the old GameFAQs text format. There's not much Fandom can do to attract new users. A vast majority of users here are late 30s/early 40s.

That said there are things Fandom has done to make the site worse and it goes beyond the whole CE/261 drama that some people are taking way out of proportion. Intrusive ads, lackluster bounties, and outdated website design are the main takeaways.

The last time I got modded was making fun of a mod pet.

I got Kia Boy'd 2 years ago and had to trade in my car simply because my insurance tripled in price through zero fault of my own. Kia offered a free security update and steering wheel club but every insurance will see once you get kia boys you pay up rather than actually punishing thieves.

That will carry with me forever as long as a search for car insurance. Someone with zero tickets, zero accidents, zero scratches/fender benders, and excellent car maintenance. A ruined because of Tik Tok.

They were the only place to buy obscure Japanese games before the digital age. It's just scummy that you were forced to pre-order or risk being stuck buying a gutted copy.

What proof is there that everyone who complains about bad localizations are "alt right" besides "I saw it on 4chan!".

Censorship I can see the relation because buzzwords like woke mind virus are brought up but I've seen people complain about the Super Mario RPG remake translation cause it was different from the one on the SNES. Working Designs have been criticized long before internet culture wars was even a thing.

My ignore list keeps getting smaller. I don't have that major beef with Crimsonness, except a lot of low effort topic spamming which is annoying enough for a casual ignore.

The modern TCG is the rich kids format. Bonfire is still $90 dollars. Snake Eyes costs well over $1000, more if you want a better side deck. Master Duel is clown format because they base their banlist around not nerfing as many URs as possible.

That leaves OCG but I can't play it outside of unoffical apps, in that case I could just play goat format instead.

I've played it for a few hours now. Yeah it's pretty much Suikoden 1/2 with a different name and glossy coat of paint. I'm not the hugest fan of those games, but it's mostly from the story and characters. Eiyuden Chronicle having a voiced protagonist immediately improves it over Suikoden by a long shot. The game has a bench for story characters if you don't like them, including the main character, so you can play with favorites.

There's definately a lot of quality of live features that modern RPGs have that this doesn't. Namely fast travel at the moment, but Suikoden's whole gimmick of fast travel is tied to a party member so maybe it will be the same here.

Due to a massive increase in work, I signed a new full time contract with my employer. I was to be paid minimums of 35 hours per week regardless of how much I worked under. Obviously during lockdowns I was working 45-50 hours per week. Once it died down in late 2021, business plummeted and do did my hours but I was always paid 35 hours. It's good until 2026.

That's it. I hated everything else about lockdowns.

Nah, it was terrible then and terrible now.

Ironically Young Sheldon is a much better show.

Dentist is booked for a week. Gotta endure this for at least week.

Look into emergency dental offices. There's some that are 24 hours. I had an impacted wisdom tooth get infected and causing 10/10 pain where nothing was working. I found one office that got me in same day and had the tooth pulled within only hours. Didn't break the bank either. I was weird that my dentist was a 6'3 guy who was jacked, but was very precise and didn't cause any pain either during the operation.

Biting your cheek too much can lead to sores, which are way more painful and last longer.

My pinky toe has been crushed so much I don't even feel it much anymore.

I got all the trophies in Star Ocean Til the End of time.

Not only is it time consuming, difficult and straight up dumb at times but you have to store it on a separate PS2 memory card because of how huge the file takes up.

I think it has to be suffering from sequelitis than PS5 exclusivity. After all it didn't hurt Final Fantasy 16 as much.

If someone didn't buy Remake, they're not going to buy Rebirth even if Rebirth is considered a much better game. Players don't feel obligated to play Rebirth until they play Remake, and you still have those who are holding out until every single piece of the Final Fantasy 7 remake compilation is out. Not to mention those who played Remake and didn't like it aren't going to have their minds changed if Rebirth got a better metacritic.

That would be political suicide for most presidents and the current government.

But honestly it's something current Republicans would be willing to do. Everything for Israel.

I agree with this. Especially if they come from reliable news sources, but random twitter click baits and conservative grave dancing (making topics about some who died who may have conservative options) was taking things too far.

A patch made where it auto levels you to 17 and lets you play online after completing the tutorial.

Baseball became a pitching paradise when they cracked down on steroids but looked the other way when pitchers were cheating. They're still are btw.

The current trend is grinding out young arms into the dirt to achieve high strikeouts and low ERA. Starters no longer pitch 6+ innings even if they're doing well. The best teams tend to have the most robust bullpens.

The issue would resolve itself if people stop buying Ubisoft shit, even if the game isn't a "game as a service".

However people continue to spend their money on it so Ubisoft is still going to keep Ubisofting. As a consumer I just ignore every game like it and if it's the fate of all video games to be like this then well I guess it's time to find a new hobby.
