I haven't met her Ehlers specialist but she has a meeting in March... but given recent revelations I feel like he isn't a patient first doctor? He legit thinks he will find treatment for everyone and that everyone should fight through everything that comes their way to give him his shot to fix things.

Well it might be true that a cure will be found, but what is the timeframe? I mean, if it is more than 2 decades off?

Also, I know little of EDs, but can it cause permanent damage? Like you said ripping an organ. Can your wife already have damaged organs? Because if so, a cure wouldn't help her with the pain that might cause, even if the cure is here tomorrow. So yeah, that doesn't sound like a good doctor to me.

I am this odd mixture of devastated but also happy my wife will not need to live in constant pain? I'm not sure how you even START doing all this as the one who will be left. I have a wonderful family and support structure around me. I WILL be fine... but I'm not always fine right now even though it isn't an assured thing yet.

Why make the topic? I dunno, help me work out my own shit about it? Maybe talk with some people who have gone through similar shit? I dunno.

That bit hit hard for me. My mom always had MS, she was diagnosed with it when I was 5. She had the progressive kind. I always knew she wouldn't get old. In the end she was literally trapped in her own body. So to see you say that you are both devastated and relieved is something I understand very well. You are devastated over the loss of your loved one, but at the same tome your are relieved for them that it is finally over.

And how hard it may be to admit, because it still is for me: after my mom died I felt lighter, like a weight was off my shoulders. Not having to worry about her anymore.

And it is okay to have these thoughts. It is never simple.

lol really. He also thinks Capcom will probably blacklist him from the SF6 beta because he's so critical of them. He actually thinks they know who he is. He said this during a little mini-rant pre-coping if he doesn't get an invite. He's salty that streamers people actually know will get personal invites and it won't be entirely random.

There is a huge difference between dark humour and being an outright asshole.

Trolls don't get you banned from something like StreamElements.

Thing is, Phil is small stuff, he is. So likely he has flown under the radar for who knows how long, because even though he "tries" (he is scared shitless) his best to keep his casual racism and sexism under wraps, he still has nothing but utter disdain for the people he relies on. Point me to one stream where he doesn't berate his fanbase, because it simply doesn't exist. So maybe StreamElements wasn't aware of Phil because he is a smalltime streamer, and reporting him has put him on the map.

But here is the second issue. You cannot accuse someone of murder if there is no body. So let's say that if the trolls hadn't mass flagged Phil (and I am running with the assumption that this statement is true for the sake of argument). Then he would have kept flying under the radar. But there is a body, there has been a murder. Phil does have a track record of.... "innapropiate" behaviour.

See, if Phil was really such a nice guy, as he claims. Then it wouldn't have mattered if one, or a million people reported him. If you've done nothing but abide buy the rules and follow the ToS, then there is nothing to worry about. But since there are so SO many examples of him blatantly breaking those roles, one report could be enough to get him suspended.

So even IF it is the "fault" of trolls for putting him on the radar of StreamElements, he is the one to blame for getting banned, due to his behaviour.

But that is something he can't admit.

I don't know much about Elden Ring lore.

But Malenia is deffinetly the Blade of Miquella.

Neverwinter is actually a lot of fun and worth checking out.

Guild Wars 2 would be my top suggestion. The basegame is free to play and the expansions are buy2play, no subscriptions.

DSP is not really happy KF went down, he regularly browsed there to see what his "detractors" were up to. Now he'll have no way to keep tabs really.

Also he's blatantly lying about the "copyright strikes". They weren't copyright strikes at all, they were TOS violations for racist and bigoted comments in his videos.

Copyright strikes pose a more imminent danger, which is a way for him to milk his viewers harder. Which is then followed by the "they cleared me and they said they love my content".

Just assume everything he says is a lie. There is just so much evidence out there, that he would throw his own mom under the bus if it would make a quick buck.

One of the biggest ones is how they make Galadriel a vengeful fighter, when she never was one in the books.

The biggest crime of Rings of Power is how it is destroying established lore and introduces non-existing characters to do so. Skin colour is such a non issue.

This is by far the least impressive threat I have ever seen. There is no body language and all that moves is his head.

I have no issue with She-Hulk.

What bothers me to no end, is that Hulk is relegated to a comedic character. Remember in the first Avengers movie when Natasha goes to recruit Banner and at one point literally was scared for her life? That is what the Hulk is, he strikes fear into that know what he is, he is menacing, huge, pure brute strength.

Edward Norton's Hulk was perfect in that regard. And the roars were fucking chilling.

Now all he is good for, is a cheap joke.

It's amazing how Aj ended up doing nothing, but Phil still went on an unhinged rant describing possible scenarios where he'd get struck. This dude's persecution complex is only matched in size by his ego.

Looking to branch out into MMOs and whatnot. Top three to try out are TOR, FFXIV, and Elder Scrolls Online

From what I've been able to glean FFXIV seems to be the most acclaimed of the three.

Never really played any FF games before, though.

Well, FFXIV has an amazing trial version. I believe since the release of Endwalker, you can play up to and complete Heavensward. So you can play a good chunk of the game and see if it is to your liking.

I absolutely love the game.
