Basically, Bruce Willis got to take his pick of any of Disneys upcoming projects, and instead of taking any of the sure things, he REALLY loved the script for Sixth Sense and picked that.

Michael Eisner was the CEO of Disney at this point in time, and Williss interest meant that the budget for the film would have to be inflated to accommodate the star, and he tried to do a bunch of loopholes to get a more experienced director. BUT M Night already had it in his contract that he HAD to direct it, so Eisner has to relent, but he was very much not happy about it, like most of the stuff in the later years of his tenure.

To put into perspective how bad he had gotten, keep in mind that he thought Pirates of the Caribbean 1 would fail miserably.

The Hunger Games were simple, easy. If you knew what to do. But most people were too interested in staying home, playing on the Nintendos and reading pictures of Kim Kardashian to prepare for disasters, and plagues, and disastrous plagues. Instead of preparing themselves, they watched their Youtubes and porns. Dwight, though, he was ready for everything. Time on his farm has prepared him for this.

While most of the others used the week long training period for the games to learn survival skills, Dwight had taken the time to hibernate, storing up his energy. Hiding.

Waiting.

This hadnt served him well, sponsorship-wise, he earned the lowest preliminary score out of all the contenders, but that was his plan. He was going to slip out from behind everyones expectations and win. All he needed to do was wait.

He looked straight into the air, as if imagining a crew of people were right there.

I got lucky, he said, showing a backpack to his imagined crowd. My pack has everything I need. Flint, toilet paper, a canteen, and he rifled around in there for a moment. This! A small bottle with a camouflage label.
He wasted no time in dumping the entire contents of it all over his body, and almost instantly gagged from the smell.

Its deer urine, he said between heaves.

If there were a camera crew there, it wouldve focused in on the giant warning sign, saying to apply conservatively.

Dwight continued heaving.

(Night Time)

Reeking of deer urine, Dwight trudged through the woods. He had yet to see any of the other opponents, but he was on high alert. He spotted a wet patch of mud by a stream, and smeared it over his body. He took off his shirt and threw it away. It would only make him easier to spot. Instead, he fashioned together a mess of vines and leaves from whatever he could get his hands on. Oak leaves, maple, some vines, some other small plant that had leaves in clusters of three. He was lucky to be in a forest habitat, where all of this was readily available.

Now he was ready.

He snapped his glasses in half. Here, he wouldnt need sight. All he would need was his 5 senses.

And an instinct to kill.

He was a classically trained marine warrior. Well he had read a training manual. Well he had skimmed it. Well he read the summary. Either way, that had supplemented with the youtube videos he had watched.
If there was one thing he knew, it was learning the topography of the land. Just north of the Cornocopia was a hillside that provided a perfect view of most of the arena. That was to be his base. He made his way there, but he was no slouch when it came to crossing potentially dangerous territory. He had a plan.

He took a few paces to the nearest tree, and immediately crouched behind it. He waited for a tense 30 seconds, before ducking and rolling to the next tree. Then ducked and rolled to the next, and the next, and the next.

He was developing a seriously itchy rash on his bare body, his trained instincts telling him danger was approaching, he reasoned. And exactly 64 minutes later, 50 feet him his original position, he found out why.

Cosmo, Wanda, I wish for a tent!

Just ahead, he saw a young boy, no older than 10, sitting on a rock, a carefree smile on his face, with his two talking Fairys.

Sorry Timmy, Da Rules say we cant interfere with any competition, the pink one said.

The green one was busy picking at his teeth with his wand.

The boy huffed. What did I even bring you here for, then? he whined.

Because it would be fun, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee the green one said with a whimsical smile.

Was Dwight going to go on the offensive? Of course not. His training was designed for facing opponents from 14-17. Going up against an opponent Timmys size would leave him at a severe disadvantage. Instead he wasWait...

Well, well, Bayonettas voice came out from the void of night. I thought I wiped out all the angels.
Dwight hid himself.

Out of nowhere, a flurry of bullets hailed from above. Cosmo and Wanda were unaffected, the bullets phasing through their bodies, but Timmy didnt have that advantage. He quickly jumped out of the way, clumsily landing on his back, helpless.

There Bayonetta was, sword in hand, as she looked at his cheekily.

Cosmo, Wanda, do something!

Sorry, both faeries said in trandum.

But, but! he watched the blade come closer and closer to his neck.

Da Rules! the faeries shouted just as Bayonetta ended the boys life.

I figure I should give the actual sim screenshots to stave off the people who might say Im completely disregarding the results of the sim. I altered some stuff (Goku just randomly stepped on a land mine and never even came across Bayo, and Pooh just ran away) for entertainments sake. Im not gonna change the winner or anything, but Id like to think the way I did things was more fun for everyone involved.

I didnt go and include EVERYONE in this Cornocopia sequence because it wouldve been WAY too much. But dont worry, Ill try my hardest to make sure everyone moving forward at least gets some decent spotlight. Im sorry to the people who requested Randy Orton and the others who were immediately taken out. I know it sucks to lose your chosen rep right off the bat, but thems the breaks, I guess *shrugs*

Formatting might be bad, and there're probably misspellings all over the place. I'm a lazy writer who doesn't proofread or edit things for worthwhile content on my first draft. But you're all fine with that, right? You all probably just want fun battles and tactics and stuff, so you all understand, I hope.

I'll try and write out another chapter either suuuuuuuuuper early in the morning, or during a lunch break. But with all my irl priorities after my profesh stuff tomorrow, I'll probably only be able to get a single PoV done. I hope you're all cool with that too. expect a better schedule starting Thursday. A bear. A yellow bear playing with a mound of dirt. The bear noticed him. Winnie the Pooh

Goku didnt have the stamina to immediately go into Blue, but he had just enough to make it to Super Saiyan 2.

Would you, could you, help me? Pooh pointed to the mound of dirt.

Goku wasnt about to fall for another dirty trick. He blasted the mound, which exploded in a brilliant, heavenly display. That bear had planted a mine there. And the mine was definitely powerful enough to blow him to bits.
Goku rushed forward again. He was quickly running out of juice, and he had to take this one out quickly. He would worry about the bears gimmicks later.

A kick launched the bear sky high. He didnt seem to have much of any defense, because his stuffing exploded out from his body. His rush to take out opponents would have to wait. After this, he would absolutely have to rest up.

Kamehameha!

A significantly less powerful beam than last time, but the hit connected, and Pooh was fully enveloped by the wave. His miniscule power level disappeared. Had Goku won? He was on the brink of going back to his base form, but he couldnt risk powering down just yet.

Oh bother.

Pooh was on his back, and clumsily stumbled onto his feet. He yawned.

Was this a joke?

Goku punched the bear again, but this time, the teddy bear blocked the hit with a paw.

Would you happen to have any honey?

Before Goku could react, Pooh balled up his fist and punched Goku square in the jaw, hard enough to send him back a few steps.

I have a rumbly in my tumbly, he said with a growling stomach.

Goku didnt move, and he had a sickening feeling that Instant Transmission was a no go. Teleporting willy nilly seemed like it was an easy option for any fight, but it quickly drained his stamina, and if that witch was waiting for him out there, hed be liable to get attacked again. How he wished Vegeta was here to back him up. At the very least, Bayonetta wouldve been busy beating up his friend instead of potentially launching a counter attack. For now, he would have to focus on the foe in front of him.

But Pooh did something unexpected. He turned right around, and hobbled away. Goku wasnt about to take that insult without doing anything.

He launched another series of punches and kicks, but the bear was prepared this time. He was able to block and minimize any damage given, but this was good. Any hit that connected was a welcome one. He just needed to keep the pressure up.

And it worked! He used one of the last droplets of energy to teleport behind the bear, landing a blow to the back of his head. Pooh was sent rolling all the way out of the clearing, straight into the forest. Right by Hank Hill, who had to readjust his glasses from the sight he had just witnessed.

Hwat?

Pooh was stationary on the ground. No tricks, no secret abilities. Pooh was a straightforward fighter, just the kind that made Gokus day.

No more energy to send a ki blast, or even fly, Goku charged forward, ready to land the killing blow.

Fufufu, the bear laughed.

Goku wasnt on his game today. It wasnt like him to continuously get blindsided like this. He felt a pressure sensor collapse beneath his feet.

Heh so this was all Poohs plan. He had planted mines in more than one spot.

The last thing he could sense was his body incinerating in flame.

This was more fun than he thought! He hadnt anticipated the rest of the opposition being quite up to par with him, but Bayonetta had more mobility in the air than he did. And she proved to be a difficult target to hit.
Goku launched a flurry of Ki Blasts at her, not necessarily because he hoped it would take her out, or even damage her, but as a precautionary measure. He needed to keep her as far as possible if he wanted to minimize the risk of getting sent blasting off into the horizon. Goku may not have listened to all the rules of the game, but he /had/ picked up the fact that attempting to escape the arena would result in a certain death. More fun for him. This put higher stakes and limitations on him. A challenge.

Each blast that hit the earth picked up a cloud of swirling dust that clouded all vision. Not a problem for him. After all, he could sense people through their power level, and Bayonetta wasnt the type to hide hers. She was out in full force. Both literally and figuratively.

Is that all? Youve gotten rusty, Bayonetta said cheekily. She sat atop a tree branch, crossing her legs as he adjusted her glasses with a gun.

Death. Goku felt death approaching. Now wasnt the time to play coy. This wasnt just a game now. In a flash, his hair turned blue, Super Saiyan Blue. If ever there was an opponent to take seriously, it was her.

He wasnt about to waste another moment. He blitzed forward, destroying the earth beneath his feet. In an instant, the tree Bayonetta sat upon was annihilated. She was a shapeshifter, more than capable of deftly dodging any attack by changing into a black panther. Before he knew it, she was on his back, claws dug into his skin. This called for drastic measures.

He cupped his hands behind his back, and unleashed another flurry of blasts right at her body. She screamed in what could only have be described as a lustful moan. She was toying with him, but he had done what he needed, even if the blast had also hit him, sending him reeling over in pain. She lay on the floor, the shock mustve turned actually hurt. This was his chance. He dashed in her direction, Ki covering his fist. If he could keep the momentum, he might be able to take her out quickly and get on with the next fight. Goku was no slouch when it came to the strategy of the game. If he could take everyone out before they could prepare themselves, he could easily sweep the competition in no time.

The attack connected, and Bayonetta was launched into the air. He blasted off again after her, landing another powerful blow with a kick. This wasnt the time to play fair. He was going for the ring out.

One more hit.

Bayonetta really wasnt able to counter now. She was defenseless and too damaged to fight back.

Kaaaaameeeeehaaaaaaameeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Energy swirled in his palms. Finish the battle at a distance. Dont get close to her. Dont risk it. Haaaaaaaaa!!!!!

Bayonetta smiled.

Goku realized too late.

/Witch Time!/

Time slowed to a crawl.

Bayonetta was right in front of him. Damaged, clearly, she /had/ taken all of those blows, but she had a secret clutch she hadnt revealed yet. Almost too fast for words, he watched as she did a seductive dance. Her clothes practically evaporated away into a swirling vortex above her. A fist forming out of the writhing mess. It hammered him into the ground with enough force to cause a crater in the earth. So she could stop time. Interesting, but not something he hadnt dealt with before.

Her jaguar form toppled him over again, and in a flash, she was back to her human form. She cocked the gun on her shoe and blasted him right in the back, with enough force that Goku was knocked out of his Super Saiyan form.

Witch Time? More like Bitch Time.

Okay, now he had a plan. And he wouldnt even need one of his ascended forms to do it. Goku teleported away. With his skill, and his knowledge of her gimmicks, he would just have to play it safe. Orbs of ki surround him. Her long range attacks could damage him, yes, but he could take her bullets for a while at least. Either she would play it safe as well, and fire at him until he died, or she would get in close for her Witch Time again, in which case his ki would explode, at the very least opening her up for another round of blows.

Sweetie.

The voice came from right behind him. Goku swung his fist around, but he only met air.

You have GOT to change up your tactics. She was in front of him again, and landed another flurry of kicks.

The orbs of ki all exploded, and Goku took the opportunity to teleport away again. She was keeping him on his toes. Goku was grateful he had chosen her as one of his first opponents. She would certainly have been able to take him out if he was exhausted fighting someone else.

The dust settled, Bayonetta lay on her side in a crater, damaged, and certainly bloody, but with a smug look on her face. What was she planning? Goku had to come up with something. He had to stall for time.

Youre pretty strong, he said. Stronger than a lot of people from my world. Howd you get like that.

She smirked. She wasnt falling for it.

In a flash, she changed into her feline form again, and changed at him. Gokus only option was to block, but she instead jumped right over him. An attack from behind? Goku launched another blast in that direction, but didnt seem to hit anything.

Ive had fun, hot stuff. But I think you should find someone else in your league, her voice came from an undiscernible direction. Where could she be?

She was gone. No where to be found.

The witchs voice echoed all around. If you make it through this next battle, Ill toss around with you again <3

The Cornocopia was deserted but undamaged and still standing. It mustve been made of some tough stuff, because even everything under its metallic canopy was untouched from the battle. But there was one figure left in the ruined battlefield.

First an alarm, then Milhouse was suddenly propelled upwards. The artificial lights of the arena blinded him as the lift finally came to a stop. He was no slouch, really. He had seen the movies, so he knew what to expect. Getting past the bloodbath at the beginning of the game was the easy part. Short of being overzealous and making a beeline for a weapon for the absolutely surest way to get killed, and Milhouse, allergies and all, knew he had no chance of outmuscling some of the competition.

By the time his eyes adjusted to the light, a voice shouted over the speakers positioned on the metal canopy that dwarfed every survival item needed. The Cornocopia. It kept speaking, but Milhouses nerves and rapid heartbeat kept him from clearly hearing everything. Not that it mattered, he was privy to the rules. This was for /their/ benefit, not his. He knew the rules, he knew what to expect.

He gazed at the opposition. Directly to his left, Jack McFarland stretched, butt out, not limber at all, and clearly doing it for the attention. Jack gave a kissy face to Goku, who didnt seem to understand the implication of the motion. Goku kissed back.

Milhouse was brought back to his senses. This was it.

Jack continued stretching. This time attempting, and failing, to stretch his legs up near his head.

He slipped off the platform. A grave error.

BOOM!

A shriek, clearly overacted, but that was Jacks whole thing.

23 Contestants left, right off the bat. Better chances for him to win, but less cannon fodder for the muscle of the competition to go after.

An alarm blared, Milhouse hesitated stepping off his platform, watching as the rest of the competition set off. Some directly for the center of the treasure spot, others right for the forest just behind him. Organized chaos, just as he had anticipated.

The biggest surprise was Baby Yoda jumping for a small package just a few yards away from his station, and then darting away. Not a welcome surprise. This was something he would likely have to deal with later. This was his time. He wasnt going to go for a weapon, he wasnt even going to try for the smaller backpacks spread around the field. He was going to run.

And run he did.

Screams of agony had already sounded, and Milhouse didnt have the good sense to not look back. Mia Smoak , in the seconds since the game started, she had already gotten into Randy Ortons face and knocked him to the ground. A second later, she had a knife right to his chest.

Yikes, Oliver probably wouldnt recognize her like this, but he figured that was just how people be. The second kill. 22 people, and more to follow. Milhouse continued his sprint away as fast as his little legs could carry him. But something was wrong.

Dont leave yet! The voice was too excited for the situation. In a flash Goku teleported right in front of him, put a hand on his face, and in a flash, Milhouse was teleported right to the center of the Cornocopia. Seconds later, Ronald McDonald, Britney Spears, and Winnie the Pooh were right beside him. They were just as shocked as him. Goku was making a power play. Making sure as many people as possible would get knocked out right off the bat.
Milhouse wasnt about to go and stand and watch anymore, but now he couldnt dream of leaving right at the moment. The others, the heavy hitters, Bobobo, Commander Shepard, and The Doctor, the first one, were already trading blows, punching, kicking, slapping. He thought he saw Britney dance in place, before sashaying off into the woods again. A bad move.

The Doctor saw her recite Work Bitch on her way to a backpack, and lunged forward faster than he had anticipated. The Doctor wrestled it out of her hands, and knocked her down. But he wasnt done there. He was out for blood and knew what he had to do. Using the strap of the backpack, he pinned her to the ground by her neck.

She clawed at his skin, but his Doctor magic was instantly healing.

Toxic is NOT a traditional American Ballad!

Milhouse understood that reference.

Britney Spears was dead, but her legacy would live on through him and the hearts and minds of gays everywhere.

Bless her soul.

Leaving would be a mistake, so Milhouse crawled to the safest haven he could find, behind a box of arrows.

Fist of the nose hair!

Milhouses hiding spot was blasted away by a mass of hair. There had to be something to do, and he needed to figure out what.

Bayonetta had just started delivering an aerial wombo combo on Hank Hill, though he managed to break out of the move just before getting more than 25% damage. She turned his attention to Milhouse.

He beelined away again. Running came with the risk of getting instant transmissioned back to the center, but staying put was just as dandgerous.

Fist of the Nose Hair!

If this was an attacked named at him, it mustve missed entirely, because all he felt from the blow was a small prick on his back. He ran.

And ran.

And ran.

He ran until the Cornocopia was far behind him and the screams of battle had stopped.

He was getting woozy. Maybe he shouldve worked on his cardio.

He ran until he physically couldnt anymore. A stream of rushing water impeded any more progress forward. But this was fine, right? He sat down, refraining from drinking the water. He knew the game makers often poisoned the water in the arena for easy kills.

Just as he sat down, on a cool stone, he noticed something on his back. A piece of metal. A dart?

The woozy feeling hadnt gone away with rest. Instead, it was worse.

Milhouses throat tightened. This was bad. He was poisoned. It was over before it even started.

As the world around him grew dark, and the milky sweetness of death enveloped his very being, he heard one last voice. A laugh.

Hah, HAAAAH!

Alright!

Im going to go and input this all into the sim and screenshot the results (for my benefit, though I guess I can post it all here when Im done if you all want). Expect the first chapter later tonight. Maybe around 7 or 8 EST.

Im gonna turn off Arena Events (basically those big hazards that routinely kill off large percentages of the roster). Those tend to make the games go WAY too fast. An earlier test run I did had the Poison Gas event wipe out 12 of the contestants right off the bat, and that doesnt make very good story.

I used to regularly mess around with a physicians assistant who would actually go and check them for me every time I came over. Its apparently a very serious issue for men of all ages. I remember getting told that one time the other guy had such a serious mass on his ball they had to stop the hookup right there.

I was wondering why I kept getting trophies for this, even though I very clearly remember playing this. I bought the original PS2 version years back, but I never played ReCOM on 1.5.

I was freaking out for a bit when I couldnt find my original 100% save file.

I still believe that 3D is the second worst game in the franchise. The bosses arent as bad as BBS (which I still maintain has the WORST story, gameplay and bosses in the series) but theyre still sooooo fucking long to the point of tedium.

Meanwhile, I actually have decently fond memories of Chainy Memories. And I dont think I ever actually finished Rikus story in the rerelease. I remember his final battle in the original GBA release being a biiiiiiitch for little 10 year old me.

It had a terrible launch, yes, but aside from that the 3ds has much better first party titles than the switch, with half of the switches titles being ports with minor upgrades from the wiiu.

The battery life of even the original 3ds is longer than the switch, its more portable, its ergonomic issues are easily and cheaply fixed, and you still have access to the vast library of ds games and dsi titles previously purchased.

The switch is a casual cash grab that halfheartedly tries to appease longtime nintendo fans while nintendo snubs the 3ds which iirc is still making sales across all of its versions because nintendo board memebers realize they can make more money cutting development costs to a single system as they realize they are losing the battle to win the market of serious gamers interest to sony and microsoft

So what do they do? Try to compete? No. They sell out and are even now trying to cash grab into the cancerous mobile gaming market.

The old nintendo is dead, and the switch is proof of this.

People talk out of their butts a lot on this website, but this takes the cake.

Nintendo is losing serious gamers? What? Indies get proportionately more sales on switch than they do on other consoles, and its become a huge draw for them to co to us to develop stuff for them. Physical copies of games are skewing more and more towards the Switch as well because people love things being portable. If anything, its drawing more people in. Its pretty much just SonyPonies who go REEEEEEal gamers dont use the switch because its not as powerful as the others when its become increasingly apparent than most people dont give a shit about video quality as long as they have the option to play on the shitter.

The game wasnt datamined before release because of downloaded copies tho. It was datamined because people in Mexico managed to get physical copies early. Like they always do.

Ill start us off and say its fine. Its a perfectly serviceable game thats marred by its faults more than its elevated by the things it did well. Were gonna need a huge overhaul if Im ever going to pay full price for a Pokmon game again.

Sword and Shield make very good $30 games and very bad $60 games. The whole thing feels like it belongs on the 3DS. The Wild Area is as bland and boring as it looks, and the camera angles are so fucking close during battle (again, its reminiscent of the 3DS titles which makes no sense because the Switch screen is bigger AND you can play this on your TV) that I dont know what they were thinking. How did the GameCube Pokemon games animate its cast better AND have a better camera during battle?

Theres lots of stuff on the switch, but this isnt one of the things that makes it a worthwhile console to have

I delivered dozens of these bikes over my time as a delivery worker, and repaired others. And I think I can safely say one thing

Peloton bikes are a SCAM! The power wire will always, ALWAYS grind against the wheel of the bike. And the only way to get it to not do that is by zip tieing it to the bike. This is a design flaw. A calculated design flaw. You cant even pedal the bike without special shoes! And youre expected to pay a monthly fee to actually get to use its live training feature. Its super aggressive.

Most of the people I delivered to were SUPER rich, and you could tell they werent going to use them anyway. There was even a house I went to that already had one, but it was used as a coat rack. The owners claimed that they bought the first one too early, and that they were FINALLY gonna do it together.

i doubt they did
