I know for a fact mental health issues are indiscriminate, but I sure as hell know proper care and management is LEAGUES better. Like, it's not even a comparison better. There's no quick fix, but money is the highway versus the bike lane for most. I'm not gonna lose any sleep because they have problems they can manage and afford while the people making them rich can't afford that level of care and don't get a quarter the attention. They can suffer in kind. |

Not a big fan of cinematic spectacle in games, and I just didn't care for the stage design or combat enough in God of War to give the game time of day. |

Feel like if I followed all that advice I would be downing an entire bottle of protein shake mix a day and in the hospital every other week. An obese friend of mine has been having success following someone going by Mulligains(Mulligainz? Unsure on the spelling but I think he says a z) and is doing well. Disclaimer being I've never checked him out aside from what I've been shown so I can't say if he gets in to any weird shit, but my friend lost about 50lbs over the past six months and, though slow going, seems to be doing really well for themselves. As a formerly obese person, my advice is don't be ashamed to take it slow and listen to yourself. That doesn't mean give yourself shit for everything not going perfectly either. Stay in a good headspace, realize setbacks will happen on the path, and keep on trucking. If this is strictly for lifting, dunno much. I do as little as possible to stay healthy, never cared much for it. |
