Theres also a big difference between the type of person TC is talking about and people with light hearted and easygoing personalities, who probably joke more than the average person

I think partially the reason i associate Yoshis Island with the others so much is that the two cartridges I played most in my childhood were the All-Stars+World one and Yoshis Island one, in many ways those 6 games just feel like some kind of gaming gold standard to me

I dont think I love World quite as much as most people... it seems a little hodge-podgey? Like theres a lot of random elements thrown together and they dont all seem to be consistent within the level design. It was a huge step forward in a lot of ways but I find myself enjoying 3 a lot more on average

some purists may disagree with Yoshis Island even being on here but I feel like its the final logical expansion on the original gameplay.... it is technically SMW2 after all

its also my pick, I love all the games but Yoshis Island feels like the most full adventure in a way

Youd be surprised at the staying power motion control games have had amongst casual audiences

while gaming companies themselves have mostly left it behind, I know many non-gamers or casual gamers who still play Wii Sports and its ilk more than just about anything else. I mean, a Just Dance game came out for the Wii last year, outliving the Wii U ports even. Id say its gotten more niche but I think theres a surprisingly large audience who havent really been into gaming since who would potentially get back into it with a new motion control wave

I know many purists will disagree, and while its peak had ended quite a bit before that, I think its fair to consider season 14 to be the last decent season, Ive heard quite a few people claim that lately and I kinda agree myself

i think if their image was just slightly different theyd be regarded as a nice little power pop group, theyre far less whiny than most boy bands, theyre definitely my pick.

limp bizkit have grown on me over time, i see them more as a bunch of goofs messing around than obnoxious douchebags which helps

im still not really into smash mouth but by sheer overexposure all star has grown on me to the point where I can acknowledge its pretty cool. most of their other stuff Ive heard is pretty annoying however
