I think it was the cutscene where the player is tasked with staring at a Slowpoke that turned me off to the game.
Kudos to Gamefreak for trying to add more in-game events and interactions with Pokemon in the overworld.
But this cutscene is literally the player being asked to stare at a Slowpoke. Followed by a 10-15 second clip of the player doing just that.
How is that supposed to be fun?

Starting top 30, Lycanroc was the first Pokemon to safety 13/29 rounds. I kept track.

Chatot was the first safe once (the top 5 round).

Interesting results. For once a Save My has surprising results. Overall I liked the contest.

That was a really fun run for Empoleon. Props to Team Empoleon for getting him this far with really smart and well-timed saves. Considering he was the last Pokemon to be safe into the top 30 (or was it 32?) and last into the top 10, every round he was safe was a pleasant surprise for me. Fun run!

People underestimate how popular Lycanroc is. Board 8 is a pretty big outlier on non gen 1 opinions.

If they add a gen 7 mon to 5mash, my money is on Lycanroc over Decidueye and Incineroar

The anime is a pretty good indicator of who the gen mascot is

I feel like those plots were a half-hearted, unfinished attempt at swapping Gob and Tobiass characters. Suddenly Gob is closeted gay and suddenly Tobias has a secret bastard kid. Neither of their arcs make any sense in relation to whats been established about them in earlier seasons. I feel like there was supposed to be a punchline that was never made with that.
