In Operation Abyss you can convert gold into experience for your party members. So if you wanted to swap in a new party member in the late game you can just dump your gold into catching them up in levels. Or more importantly, if someone dies in a random fight and ends up with a different amount of exp from the rest of your party you can spend a little bit of gold to get everyones exp values to the same numbers again.

Its pretty simple. Release op pay2win weapon > everyone buys it so they dont get left out > nerf op weapon so it doesnt ruin game balance and so that your next warbond can have a new op weapon > release new op pay2win weapon

I dont think it really matters if his viewers join in the review bomb at this point. Even if Sony walks it back most people aren't changing their reviews so the game is probably never getting back to positive.

A reminder that it isn't that they can't afford those wages most of the time(I'm sure some smaller companies feel some stress at least) but because you're legally obligated to do what is best for your investors, which means showing growth. That means firing all those people who get pesky, annoying things like proper living wages.

Granted even if that weren't a requirement they'd still likely be doing this to maximize profits, it's the next best thing to slave labor.

We'll definitely see this tech spread to big chains eventually but the article is talking about a local chain that has like 3 restaurants total. Its not about pleasing a board of investors its about shitty owners who cant exploit the local immigrant work force as easily anymore moving on to the next best alternative.

There's no information you can get from TikTok that you can't get elsewhere - and you're going to need to go to better resources to actually get any details on stuff anyway. It's cool if TikTok exposed you to new information, but you could have just as easily gotten that information on Twitter, Youtube, or Wikipedia, just to name a few.

You can get that information elsewhere sure, but just as easily or as fast? Not really. Twitter used to be good for breaking news but then Musk bought it. Maybe the youtube or facebook short things are a good alternative, but outside of those and tiktok there arent many good media platforms left for rapidly spreading important information.

Owners cant afford $200 to replace the 15 year old headsets so employees can actually hear customers, but theyll spend thousands on AI order takers that are probably just 4 people in Indian reading speech to text transcripts for dozens of restaurants at once.

The lego quote is kinda funny, because the fact that things like that are cheap to produce (and cheap write off if you get a bad batch) is a big part of why its so easy to ensure the pieces shipped to customers will be to standard.

Nevermind that Elon is totally the type of boss to tell someone to just use faulty parts and keep the line going instead of shutting down production for days or weeks while waiting for replacements.

A fairly typical TPS but with the slower pace, inventory management, and reverse power fantasy of a survival horror game.

A lot of milsim games are like this but the management is pretty much always limited to within the mission rather than stretched across the entire "campaign" so you generally wouldnt be stressed about resources too much.

Ignoring the fact that its disgusting behaviour, I think theres a common misconception that for guys their only "attractive" quality is their dick. If a girl likes someone they'll do stuff like post pictures of their butt in their favourite pants/shorts on their story, or a carefully aimed selfie asking what you think of their new lashes that just so happens to show off their cleavage too. Girls are better at marketting themselves while remaining clothed / staying socially acceptable. Guys that go to the gym might try to show off their muscles I guess but other than that a lot of guys dont think they have any way to market themselves so they default to the dicks.

Thief can wallkick but I dont think it works on enemies. Archers can jump kick off enemies though and do a mid air shot with their bow after.

Thats kinda wild. Docs always built his brand around being an abrasive hardass but he wasnt blatantly toxic like that. Guess times must be tough over in youtube jail.

The problem with the dominator is its handling stat more than its damage output so it probably still feels like a worse version of the slugger.

If that doesnt work the game should autosave when they fly away and if you reload the save it usually resets their AI and they start fighting again. Otherwise youre just supposed to try to follow them to their nest.

I gave both of them forgeries and kept the orb for myself.

The beastman trader came back to me later and said he found out it was fake, and that if he finds out I intentionally gave him a fake orb he will get revenge any way he can. The other merchant was convinced it was real and I never heard anything else from him.

I can sit cross leg for hours, but uncrossing after is the hard part.

Why are all the caves I've been in have blocked off exits? I fought for my god damn life against an ogre in a cave with a quarter of my max health cuz I couldn't find a camp nearby only to get to an exit completely blocked. Then I found another exit that was completely blocked. So I had to go all the way back to the entrance smh

From what I've seen theres a lot of dungeons that have one specific "entrance" and all the other access points are "exits" and if you go in from the exit side you'll end up hitting those doors that only open from the other side.

On the one hand this looks like an amazing game, what d3 wishes it was. On the other it looks less like what Path of Exile is.

I'm torn.

I'm just glad that they split development into a new game instead of an expansion because every time they put out a new gameplay video I get less excited for poe2.

I play poe because I like grinding during the first weekend so I can buy an early headhunter and start zooming through maps with crazy builds. I'm not interested in playing a ranger with 5 different attack skills and spamming them on cooldown to create combos or rolling around as a warrior waiting 30 seconds to use a slam attack like I'm playing a strength build in dark souls.

Probably runs but I cant imagine you'll get more than 30fps even in the less demanding areas. The game is really vram hungry and the minimum requirement is 8gb so I would try to see if someone has posted gameplay on youtube with 6gb cards and see how its faring.

Not entirely true, for instance heavy armor with explosive resistance is almost a must for higher level bot missions. It's also really difficult to solo or split off until some of the better stratagems come available in the level 10-15 range.

Armor was broken for most of my playtime so I've only used the light stealth armor. Does that set make a big difference against rockets now?

At the start you get about 1 level up per mission if you're doing all the side objectives so you should be fine to unlock anything you need as you progress naturally. If you have friends skipping you from tier 2 to tier 7 you're going to be in a rough spot but the basic machine gun, EAT, and airstrike loadout is all you need to do your part in a group. Let the high level nerds run off solo and die trying to orbital laser a heavy base and just stick with a duo or trio and focus on the main objectives.

Im not saying its easy to rush straight to helldive difficulty but theres no reason to be afraid of moving up a tier if your main concern is not having the gear required for it. Most people should be fine to push up to tier 6 or 7, especially if you're playing in 4 man lobbies.

Every time you unlock a new difficulty just play on it and if it feels too hard then go back down and practice some more. Higher level gear and stratagems arent really direct upgrades so much as side grades or specializations so the only thing you gain from playing lower difficulties is knowledge, and youll learn a lot more a lot faster on harder missions.

Autocannon is probably the most versatile support for bots. One shots walkers from the front with its explosion, makes quick work of devastators and hulks with headshots, 3 shot kills tanks and base artillery in their weakspots and can take out fabricators from any distance if you can see them from the front.

Hopefully with no slow motion this time
