It's cool if TikTok exposed you to new information, but you could have just as easily gotten that information on Twitter, Youtube, or Wikipedia, just to name a few. You can get that information elsewhere sure, but just as easily or as fast? Not really. Twitter used to be good for breaking news but then Musk bought it.
