You have to download a cracked exe to get it running since Windows 10 disabled SecuROM compatibility years ago. No man's sky, Red Dead Redemption 2, Metal Gear Solid V, etc., all use this mechanic and it accomplishes absolutely nothing that a single button press could accomplish. It's like the player is too stupid to make decisions, so now they need to hold a button for 2 seconds so they can really be sure they want to open a chest.
