Ive owned many different breeds of medium/large dogs and literally none of them have tried to attack any of my cats through the years. They bond very quickly with them. If your dog is straight up trying to run over and murder every cat they see its because of bad owners.

Once again, there's varying levels of aggression, not all dogs will attack other animals on sight, especially if they grew up with them.

There are many factors that go into this, prey drive being the biggest among them. Don't get a Jack Russell or a Westie and act shocked when it reacts to a pet rabbit or guinea pig. It's the owner's responsibility to recognize this and redirect the behavior.

I've had so many dogs over the years and the only one who showed any aggression to cats was a dog that was trained by the previous owner to chase cats.

Train your dogs better mate.

I'm talking about dogs in general because I have decades of experience in training and canine behavior, mate. All of the dogs I've owned were powerful, work/guardian breeds.

Using this same logic a small child is a prey animal to a dog, problem is that only seems to really apply to Pitbulls.

All dogs are predators, that's why all dog/child interactions should be supervised by an adult. The smells, shrieking sounds that kids make, especially the running can trigger a dog with a high prey drive. That's why people should be knowledgeable about what breed that they have, and not be surprised when an Australian Cattle Dog nips at kids trying to herd them.

Also, animal aggression =/= human aggression, just because a dog will attack another dog, cat or other animal it does not mean that it will turn that around on a human.

The fact that cats are small and run away which in turns triggers a dog's prey drive. Feral dogs and wild canids like coyotes and foxes will definitely take out a cat and eat it.

Train your damn dogs, there's no excuse. Yeah, I know, it's not easy but if you're not willing to do the work then you shouldn't have a dog.

You're arguing just to argue. Not once did I say do not train your dogs. Yes train recall by all means, but also make sure that they are leashed.

If your dog chases cats it needs to be taken away from you. I say this as a dog owner, learn to train your damn dog. Irresponsible owners blame instincts instead of their own incompetence.

Dude, I'm just saying that it's instinctual for a lot of dogs with prey drive to go after cats. It's normal for dogs to have an inclination to chase cats, it's crazy to suggest that a dog should be taken away.

Sure owners should take preventative measures, like leashing and containing their animals, nowhere did I suggest that they should not.

Do what you have to do to save your pet, it doesn't change the fact that cats are prey animals to dogs. Most are going to have a go at them, especially if they're a terrier or working breed with high prey drive, that's a simple fact.

I don't have a problem with controlling my dog, because they don't run around loose.

Boy, some of y'all are dramatic. It's a cat, cats are prey animals to dogs, a lot of dogs have an on sight policy with cats. Also, I'm sick of every bull breed mutts being called Pit Bulls.

The owner is responsible for controlling and maintaining their animal (i.e socialization, training and properly containing them). Most people aren't aware of the warning signals that dogs give before they actually bite, they typically do quite a few things before they bare teeth and growl.

Cloud save is corrupted too.

Was on the very last stage of the long battle, died and put the PS5 in sleep mode. I woke the system up and my PS5 was acting funny, restarted and now my save won't even load.

77 hours in, gone. I've never had a corrupted file on any game system I've played. I just watched the conclusion of the battle and the ending cutscene on YT, disgusted.

Great game though.

The premise of America was to never be a racist country . What history class did she take in school? The founders of this nation in their treatment of Black and Native American people made it crystal clear what the premise was. The foundation of this nation was the extirpation of Natives and the chattel enslavement of Black people. Not to mention 100 years of Jim Crow, lynching, Black Codes, Chinese Exclusion Act, Japanese internment, redlining, etc, etc, etc.
