Like others have said, capitalism is linked to racism. The Trans-Atlantic slave trade and the treatment of indigenous populations were driven by capitalism. Free labor provided by slaves and theft of land was the driving force of American capitalism. There's a reason why Mississippi had more millionaires in the United States than anywhere in the country in the 1850s.

Its not really a good comparison. One is purely for aesthetic reasons and one is for religious or hygiene reasons (i personally think those are bs reasons but im talking about motivation here).

anyone docking their dogs tails or cropping the dogs ears is doing it for aesthetics and the dog definitely doesnt gaf about their aesthetics.

Cropping and docking has a function for working dogs, the Cane Corso is a traditional working breed. I don't have to worry about hematomas, torn ears and infections when she's out in the field.

Her tail was already docked, I had her ears done at 12 weeks. It's like circumcision to me, if you do it fine, if not that's fine too. She was playing and doing her thing like nothing happened right after the surgery, several years and no ear infections or torn ears, yay.

I'm more concerned about dogs that are fat and under exercised, untrained, poorly bred with crippling hip dysplasia, so brachycephalic that they can't run 20 yards without passing out, heads so big they can't give birth naturally. Those kinds of things.

Chicago would likely be a lot different had he lived, he was only 21 when he was killed. He was charismatic and black, Latino and even some white people began to come together under his message. That was the game changer right there, he was too "dangerous" to live.

1. Almost zero young people die or get any serious effects from the virus. A few outliers are irrelevant. Keep in mind that I dont even really support re-opening schools. I just think the whole thing is overblown, when kids especially, are simply not affected by the virus.
2. So the virus is Trumps fault? How is that the case, when the entire planet has it? And certain countries are not locked down, or are barely locked down, and are apparently doing fine. What are they doing differently, that Trump is or isnt doing? I doubt the deciding factor here is Trump.

The game mechanics were excellent, Snake never moved better, but the implementation of the mission designs were just incredibly repetitive. If the game was tight and more linear then it would have worked out better.

Kojima probably took the criticism of the number and length of cutscenes in MGS4 (which I understood due to it being Snake's last game and the end of a saga) and took it way in the other direction by having very few cutscenes and kinda giving the player busy work to do.

It's in my top 3 this gen. The presentation, graphics, animations, music, gameplay were all top notch.

I'm glad that they told a story that they wanted to tell. If it would have been The Adventures of Joel and Ellie II then I wouldn't have liked it as much. The pacing could have been better in some parts but overall I liked the direction that it took. The whole game was an exercise in catharsis for both Ellie and Abbie, maybe some of the players too lol

Dude, what do you expect? We live in areas with high crime rates. In fact, I am currently going through a personal dilemma where a couple neighborhood kids are asking me to buy them a bike pump and my parents are accusing them of being drug runners when I mentioned I'm looking for a bike pump for them.

This is my biggest problem with BLM and people calling out cops. There's always a consequence to an action. People think we can have the gangsta culture sitting high and mighty in black culture but feel it in no way influences how we're collectively perceived and how we treat ourselves. This simply isn't true. If we focus on uplifting our community and holding ourselves to a specific collective standard, so many other things will fall into place, including the problem of police brutality.

Bruh, police have been busting our heads since time immemorial. Respectability politics is not going to work, it never does. As long as the person behind the badge doesn't see your humanity it doesn't matter if you have a PhD or if you've been in and out of jail. We DO need to focus on uplifting our communities, but police brutality and misconduct is something that is not in our control at the moment. We can put a focus on it with organizations like BLM, but it's really up to politicians and law enforcement to see it and enact those changes.
