The rest are pretty much "ROH guys" who pretty much have a ceiling in the X-Division. If Eddie worked really hard on his charisma I could see him as a borderline IC/US guy.

I dunno, I think if AmDrag developed into a main event level guy on the mic seemingly overnight, any of them can. None of them have his level of talent in the ring, but I wouldn't be surprised to see guys like Eddie, Roddy, or Tyler become proficient on the mic. And with guys like Danielson, Punk, Cody, Ziggler, Miz etc. suddenly becoming main event players, I think the sky is the limit for any of them.

survivor series

TEAM WWE
John Cena
CM Punk
Daniel Bryan
Alberto Del Rio
Sheamus
Randy Orton

TEAM MMA
Brock Lesnar
Chael Sonnen
Mirko Cro Cop
Bobby Lashley
Ken Shamrock
"Mystery Partner"

Like Bash at the Beach, no mystery partner shows up until Del Rio shocks the world and turns on Team WWE, revealing himself to be the 6th member. Team WWE is outnumbered and soon it's down to John Cena vs. Brock and Chael. All of a sudden, Anderson Silva comes out of the crowd and breaks all of Sonnen's appendages, Cena adjusts Brock's attitude, and the PPV goes off the air with Cena's music blaring.

Any MMA match featuring Takada should be taken with heavy skepticism.

Though if he lost by getting his face kicked in then I guess that answers that.

Going back to "best debut matches," I can't believe I f***ing forgot REY MYSTERIO JR.

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1ks4p_dean-malenko-vs-rey-mysterio-jr-gab_sport

Instant Superstar.

yeah rey really took the world by storm around that time

he actually managed to steal the show at the friggin super j cup as a nobody against psicosis in an exhibition match in 1995

that tournament featured liger, ultimo dragon, jericho, benoit, otani, and el samurai amongst others, all in their primes, and some 5'5" 20 year old nobody stole the show

token puro guy in the top 10 will likely be tanahashi

he held the IWGP heavyweight championship (which they tend to give the most weight) from the beginning of the ranking period (reign started january 4th) until february 12th, successfully defending it a record 11 times, and then won it back two weeks ago. it was the second longest reign in the title's history.

another guess would be jun akiyama, who has held the AJPW triple crown since october 23rd

Isnt broadway a term for when a match goes the (unspoken 1 hour) time limit?

When is the last time a major fed had a match go broadway?

besides ironman matches, probably a while

broadways were only really a thing when the NWA champ was still traveling from territory to territory to defend the belt against that fed's top guy

time limit draw is the best way to have the champ retain but still make your guy look like a million bucks
