The Legion is pretty gray in the world of Fallout. You hear about how their controlled lands are thriving and sadly we'll never get to see what Obsidian wanted to show of the Legion. All we see in NV is their war camp and soldiers on a war footing. They wanted to show a bit of Legion homeland but didn't have the time.

Yeah they literally just stretched the UI and didn't do anything to compensate. It's not actual support.

It's actually sad to see the state of AEW right now, especially their small and anemic crowds. They were so hot in the beginning and people were always hyped to be there. They are speedrunning the path of WCW.

As expected it's a fucking tire fire on PC.
The ultra-wide support is the laziest implementation ever, they just stretched the UI to ridiculous proportions where it's so bad that certain resolutions can't even see the name field to enter your character's name at the start.

If you have an RTX make sure you disable Weapon Debris because they didn't fix that CTD either.

Many other issues with it. PC users didn't need this trash.

There's no "war" brewing, people are just tired of being scolded, insulted and lectured for preferring to look at pretty characters.

I also love how Women who are in favor of fan service and sexy characters are never listened to or even acknowledged. People like to pretend all women hate it. We don't.

I read a comment once that said once you realize Tony books AEW like you would book and e-Fed then everything makes much more sense. Tony used to run e-feds by the way. Basically simulations online where you ran your own wrestling company.

It's kinda troubling how many people seem to want a huge conflict to break out. How quick people jump to it is always disturbing to me.

Tim has been pretty candid in his videos so I imagine he really did enjoy himself. I'm curious to see if his feelings change as he sees the rest of the episodes.

There's a lot of characters but none of them were in any of the games.

If you aren't real familiar with the games the show is still easy to follow. They even put some really dumb sounding dialogue in solely for the benefit of people that don't know terms and such so they could understand.

If anyone's interested, Tim Cain, the creator of Fallout was invited to the premier of the show by Todd Howard and talked about his feelings on the show and the premier itself:

I think that was just a special case for him. The dialogue implied he was basically a prisoner of some big shot.

Yeah it was pretty accurate in a lot of ways but inaccurate in others.
My feeling is that it didn't feel like any of the mistakes were malicious. You can tell when writers or a showrunner are actively antagonizing a fanbase but I never got that sense with Fallout.
Feels like they respect and like the source material they just got stuff wrong at times.

It's called A Tale of Two Wastelands and how it works is that it basically converts Fallout 3 and all its DLCs into a giant mod for New Vegas.

It runs through New Vegas and its version of the engine and gameplay so you can have a much better time in Fallout 3 with NV's improvements.

There are various mods for it which let you customize your perks and all sorts of things as well.
