Treatment of Bipolar with lithium usually works in 5ish days. Oops_All_Berrys posted... Doesn't that stuff turn you into a zombie tho? Yeah. It really kills the highs...a little too well. It seems to be the standard though.There are a few alternatives though and if he's having major depressive episodes there's usually also an anti-depressant given. Finding the right combo of anti-psychotic/mood stabilizer and anti-depressant can take time which is why following up with the psychiatrist until you reach that point is super important. DrVonRupee posted... If your manic highs are mostly just fuck money then I feel like you can definitely get some help and live a normal life. It depends on if "fuck money" doesn't run him into massive debt during a manic episode. Its probably affecting his life in some way. --- I love people. I hate people. |

I don't really see why the two ideas are mutually exclusive. Its about BOTH stalling and an investigation. The republicans made a piss poor choice in their approach of this situation. They thought that because they were the majority party they could just ignore the whole thing and push Kavanaugh through without it blowing up in their faces. They failed to realize that with the current political environment their best approach would have been to allow an investigation without all the drama. --- I love people. I hate people. |

The route I keep pushing with him will give him long term stability without his parents while the short term route could potentially have him fail to accomplish his dreams and then hed go back to his parents while they shittily rub in his failures. He's just acting like any other teenager would and the adult super hero (Stark) is acting how any adult would when they want to protect said teenager super hero. It really has nothing to do with him being portrayed as a side kick. He spends most of the movie trying to do his own thing. This happens to be a universe where everyone has a pretty big start on Peter Parker as far as super heroing goes so there's a bit of a rookie/pro relationship going on.
